Chapter 94 Avengers II
Steve pursed his lips and said nothing, listening to Rong Huan continue,
"But Papa didn't mess anything up, he's a hero!"
Rong Huan opened her hands innocently.
"If it wasn't for Papa, I might not know where I am. Uncle Steve, I would be sad if you said that."
The training room fell silent. Steve looked at the little girl and noticed her straightforward and undisguised expression.
"I'm sorry, maybe I shouldn't have said that."
Captain America was also having a hard time during this period. The pressure from the government's opposition instigation made him feel powerless.
The disagreement with Iron Man puts the entire Avengers alliance in jeopardy, and no one wants to see this.
But things eventually took a turn for the worst.
Rong Huan understood Steve's pain. She sighed and said what she wanted to say the most.
"Uncle Steve, our teacher taught us that if friends have conflicts, they must speak up. Why don't you talk to Papa?"
Steve smiled bitterly, thinking of the scenes of his constant confrontation with Tony.
Still nodded to indicate that he would have a heart-to-heart talk with Tony.
Rong Huanhe didn't know the undercurrents of being an adult, but there always had to be someone to solve the problems.
None of the elders in the family are talkative, so only she, the child, has to do the talking.
Ever since Rong Huan spoke in the training room last time, the atmosphere in the building has obviously become much more relaxed, and Steve even took the initiative to talk to Tony about the peacekeeping project.
Although most of the conversations ended unpleasantly, the two of them, perhaps because they were desensitized, were able to talk as calmly as possible.
Three days later, in the early morning, Rong Huan finally got rid of the insomnia caused by the nightmare. She was sleeping soundly when the system assistant called her repeatedly.
"Host, host, hurry up and get up, the plot is about to develop!"
Seeing Rong Huan turning over impatiently, it used its ultimate move and whispered sinisterly in her ear,
"All your points are gone!"
This sentence was a lifeline for Rong Huan. She sat up in shock from her dying illness.
"What!? My points!"
Maybe because she was sleepy, she shouted out loud.
The empty room was silent and Rong Huan's voice echoed everywhere.
Rong Huan quickly opened the screen and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that her baby points were exactly the same.
Then he bit his back teeth,
"Are you going to die? What are you doing? You were sleeping so well."
The system assistants were either being scolded or on the way to being scolded, and they reminded me with grievance,
"Host, the next critical point is coming."
Rong Huan rubbed her dry eyes and glanced at the dark sky outside.
Alas, it's not easy to work, Huan Huan sighs (í_ì)
She nodded solemnly, got up, put on her clothes, and signaled the system assistant to open the transmission channel.
The assistant opened the portal and said,
"Host, you have to go to the front line this time. The mission is already two-thirds complete."
Rong Huan then realized that there was no sound in the building, and even Wanda and Pietro's room was empty.
She closed her eyes and opened them again, and found herself transported to a small wooden house.
The owner of the wooden house obviously loves life very much, and the bright flowers planted in front of the house are blooming.
There was a wooden block next to it, with firewood neatly stacked beside it.
“A-choo!”
Rong Huan zipped up her thin jacket to the top, hugged her arms and shivered.
The system assistant could only give reminders at critical moments. It said that the time had not yet come. It glanced at Rong Huan, whose face was pale from the cold, and urged her to go over.
Rong Huan shivered as she was about to knock on the door. Just then a gust of wind blew by, and her cold hands slapped the door uncontrollably.
The wooden door suddenly opened and a boy ran out. The boy didn't pay attention to the front and only looked back.
Rong Huan's hand slapped the boy's face, making a crisp sound.
Rong Huan:!
The boy was obviously stunned. Two seconds later, he felt a stinging pain on his cheek. He had never been beaten like this in his life.
Big tears fell from the boy's eyes and he cried with his mouth clenched.
Laura, who was in the house, heard her son crying and thought he had fallen, so she hurried out to see what was happening.
"Cooper?"
As a result, as soon as I arrived at the door, I saw a pretty little girl who was humbly trying to comfort her crying son.
Rong Huan was so anxious that she was worried about causing psychological trauma to the child, so she reached into her pocket and took out a few pieces of candy.
Perhaps because she had been with Iron Man for too long, Rong Huan had developed the habit of hiding snacks secretly.
Tony was strictly forbidden by Jarvis and the captain to drink coffee and eat snacks because of his weight and health, while Rong Huan did so to prevent tooth decay.
Every policy from the top has its own countermeasure.
Although the smart butler's vision covers the entire building, Iron Man and his girlfriend can still hide the snacks secretly.
Rong Huan didn't think it was a big deal before, but now she has to give herself a thumbs up for not knowing when to hide her sweetness.
She offered the candy to Cooper like a treasure, trying to stop his tears.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I really didn't mean it. Does it hurt? Have some candy, please, and stop crying."
Laura just stood on the steps and looked at the two children. She noticed the wrinkled face of the little girl and felt both amused and helpless.
Hawk-Eye saw his wife standing at the door, so he went over curiously and exclaimed after just one look.
"Xiao Rong? Why are you here? Tony, Tony!"
Iron Man only heard the second half of the sentence and walked out of the house. He was shocked to see Rong Huan spinning around.
"Xiao Rong? Why are you here?"
Clint folded his arms.
"Hey, I just said that."
Tony didn't have time to argue with Clint. He walked down the stairs in two or three steps. Just as he was about to ask, Rong Huan grabbed him.
Rong Huan looked at Tony as if he were her savior. Her eyes lit up and she asked Iron Man for help.
"Papa, I hit him accidentally, please comfort him."
Tony was nearly knocked to the ground by Rong Huan's strong pull. Before he could even get serious, he started to coax the child in a daze.
Clint stopped his wife who was about to go downstairs, watched the excitement for a while, and then slowly picked up his son.
After returning to his father's arms, Cooper stopped crying soon, still tightly holding the candy that Rong Huan gave him as a compensation gift.
After being brought into the house by her mother with red eyes, the open space outside the house suddenly became quiet.
Tony Stark half-squatted, sweat wiping off his forehead, and breathed a sigh of relief.
Rong Huan also sighed beside him, and the two of them wiped their faces in a similar manner.
Tony suddenly remembered why he came down here, and a serious expression returned to his face.
"Wait a minute, you should be in the building now, not here!"
Jarvis' voice came from the headset.
"Sir, the young lady's location appears next to you."
Tony was speechless.
".....Old Jia, I knew it a long time ago."
Rong Huan didn't expect Tony to be in the cabin. Her eyes were wandering and her mouth opened and closed, not knowing how to answer.
Iron Man, who already had many guesses about his daughter's abilities, saw that the girl was avoiding the question and planned to go back and interrogate her further.
He picked up Rong Huan and walked towards the wooden house.
"I'll settle the score with you when I get back."
Rong Huan didn't show it on her face. She let go of her worries and thought happily that she had escaped danger again.
The Avengers were all in the room, and Steve saw Rong Huan stand up from Tony's arms.
Natasha and Banner also looked over, with the same confusion in their eyes.
