The two had just returned to Chenxiang Courtyard when a servant came to report that Prince Atuo was requesting an audience.

"Quickly, invite them in," Wen Nongnong instructed the servant beside her.

Upon hearing this, Gu Linchao paused. He didn't want her to go, but seeing the girl's expectant look, he didn't want to spoil her fun. Therefore, he couldn't bring himself to stop her and instead said, "You go by yourself. I won't go, but only within Qingfeng Pavilion. You can't go anywhere else."
He hadn't forgotten the time she went to Yancui Tower with Atuo and Jianghua.
Wen Nong Nong was slightly disappointed when she saw that he wasn't going. "Alright then, I'll pack some roast goose for Your Highness."
She had actually guessed he wouldn't go, but he had previously instructed her and Atuo Jianghua to stay in the mansion and not go out. So now that she wanted to go out, she had to tell him to avoid being punished later.
"Be careful, and remember to bring Wang Houde with you," Gu Linchao instructed.
