After Gu Linchao returned, he quietly lay down beside her.
The room was quiet, with only the soft glow emanating from the luminous pearl.
At this moment, Wen Nongnong suddenly spoke up: "Your Highness?"
"Hmm?" Gu Linchao's voice rang out slowly, with an unusually deep and magnetic quality in the night.

As she looked at the man's handsome face drawing closer and smelled his increasingly distinct scent, Wen Nongnong felt as if her heart was about to leap out of her chest. Her peach blossom eyes suddenly welled up with tears, shimmering and alluring.
Gu Linchao's breathing became erratic.
But he still restrained himself, slowly leaned over and gently pecked her lips, then stopped.
Although it was only a brief moment, it stirred Gu Linchao's heart, and his heart tightened.
The girl's soft lips left him wanting more. Looking at her small face so close to his, his deep eyes seemed to be filled with ink, so dark and unsettling. They appeared calm, but a storm was brewing beneath.
