"Your Majesty, you must be tired after traveling so far. Please give the little princess to this old servant, and I will take her to sleep," said Granny Ding.
Gu Linchao glanced at his daughter in his arms and shook his head. "No need, you can go down now."
Upon hearing this, Granny Ding had no choice but to respond, bow, and leave.
Inside the house, Gu Huaijin, having eaten and drunk her fill, fell asleep in her mother's arms.
Wen Nongnong got up and carried him to the cradle. Just as she put him down, Gu Linchao also came in carrying his daughter.
"Is Yaoyao asleep?" Wen Nongnong looked up and saw the little one nestled obediently in her father's arms. Her heart softened. "Give her to me."
Gu Linchao said, "I'll take care of it." As he spoke, he bent down and carefully placed his daughter next to his son, then grabbed a thin blanket from the side and covered the two siblings with it.

Gu Linchao's eyes were filled with tenderness, and he suddenly reached out and pulled her into his arms.
Wen Nongnong suddenly fell into his arms, stunned for a moment, and was about to speak when the man's slender fingers stroked her hair, and he said softly, "Nongnong, you've worked hard."
Wen Nongnong pressed her face against his chest. Upon hearing this, she paused for a moment, then simply reached out and wrapped her arms around his neck, looking up at him. "I'm actually fine. So many people in the manor are helping me. You're the one who's been working the hardest."
Gu Linchao's heart softened. He lowered his head and kissed her forehead, feeling a pang of guilt as he recalled what had happened last time. "When you were in trouble last time, I didn't get there in time to save you... I..."
Wen Nongnong placed her finger on his lips and said considerately, "You're far away in the capital, how can you save me? I'm perfectly fine now, aren't I?"
