The group looked over and saw three people jump out of the bamboo forest.
These were Xiao Yan, Atuo Qingye, and Atuo Jianghua, whom Si Yi should have abandoned.
The three men looked rather disheveled, covered in dust and dirt, but each was carrying a bamboo shoot in their arms, clearly having just dug them up from the bamboo forest.
Upon seeing the three of them, Wen Nongnong's lips twitched slightly.
How did they get into this state?
The one who just spoke was Xiao Yan.
"Hengzhi, you're really not fair to me! How could you treat your uncle like this?" Xiao Yan rushed over first, angrily saying, "You actually abandoned us halfway."
Gu Linchao glanced at him. "You've come along now, haven't you?"
Xiao Yan felt somewhat embarrassed and annoyed when he thought about how he and his sister, A Tuo, had wandered around for a long time before finally finding their way here.
"How dare you say that? No way, you have to coax me." As she spoke, her gaze fell on the grilled fish he was eating. "I'm hungry. If you give me the grilled fish, I won't hold it against you."
Gu Linchao said calmly, "If you want to eat, go fish for it yourself. There are fishing rods there."
Xiao Yan was so angry that his hands trembled. "You, you, you..." He turned around and suddenly rushed to the fire, took the last bamboo strip off the fire, and said, "Haha, I won't fall for your trick. There are still some here. I'll just make do with this."
Wen Nongnong swallowed the last bite of fish, holding the empty plate, and said, "Uncle, Prince Atuo and the princess are guests, shouldn't you let them eat first?"
Xiao Yan wanted to say that he didn't even have enough to eat, but seeing the two of them staring at him expectantly, he couldn't ignore them and gave the fish he had packed to the brother and sister.

Upon hearing this, Xiao Yan quickly stopped him, "You silly girl, didn't you see how thin your uncle has become from hunger? Not only did you not give me any grilled fish, you didn't even leave me any soup. You guys are really..."
"Here you go." Wen Nongnong held out a bowl of fish soup to him, and then brought over a plate of pastries. "Uncle is hungry, you can have some pastries to fill your stomach."
Xiao Yan was truly hungry. He had been wandering in the wilderness for a long time without even a sip of water, and was already starving. Now that there was something to eat, he naturally didn't care about the food.
He simply took the plate away, squatted on the rock next to him, and began eating without any regard for appearances.
As soon as Wen Nongnong sat down next to Gu Linchao, a plate of grilled fish was handed to her. Gu Linchao said, "You must not be full yet, take this and eat."
To be honest, this bamboo-sliced grilled fish was really delicious. Since the fish itself wasn't very big, Wen Nongnong only ate about half full. If Xiao Yan and the others hadn't suddenly appeared, she could have eaten another fish.
"But if I eat it, what will you eat?" Wen Nong Nong glanced at the almost untouched grilled fish on his plate and shook her head. "Your Highness, please eat it yourself."
"I'm not hungry, take it quickly." Gu Linchao frowned, pointed his chin in Xiao Yan's direction, and reminded him, "It'll be stolen in a moment."
Wen Nongnong swallowed hard and had no choice but to reach out and take it.
Gu Linchao stood up and called to Wang Houde and Si Yi, who had already finished eating, "Let's go catch some more fish."
