Chapter 145 Spicy Crab

"Everything is ready, Princess."

Su Lixia glanced at it briefly, nodded and said, "Okay, go down, we don't need any help with this."

“Princess, it’s obvious you can’t keep a fire going. Let me tend it for you. I’m an expert at making fires; I can make them as big or as small as I want.”

Su Lixia raised an eyebrow and nodded at him: "Alright, then you can do it. It's just that I, the princess, can't control the heat well by myself."

After saying that, the cook happily walked away, while the other two didn't understand what he meant.

"Aren't you two leaving yet?" The cook gave them a smug look.

The two men pursed their lips, speechless. One of them suddenly had a sudden inspiration: "By the way, Princess, I noticed that two guests have come into the room. Shouldn't we prepare two more dishes?"

Su Lixia then realized, "Right, right, then you two make something else, something more refined."

"Yes, Your Highness, rest assured." The two replied, then proudly twisted their bodies towards the cook tending the fire, before going about their own business.

Su Lixia skillfully cut the crab in half, then dipped the meaty end into the prepared batter, coated it with breadcrumbs instead of breadcrumbs, and then fried it until golden brown.

Hearing the sound of frying, the group couldn't resist going over to take a look.

"The color is so beautiful," exclaimed the cook tending the fire.

"That's right, the golden color means it's cooked just right, it's done very well," Su Lixia praised.

The cook scratched the back of his head sheepishly: "It's alright, I'm just glad the princess didn't laugh at me."

"That's great, of course. Now, turn the heat down a bit, I'm going to cook."

"Yes." The cook immediately pulled out a piece of firewood.

Su Lixia picked up some scallions, ginger, and garlic and stir-fried them in the pan until they were fragrant. Then she added dried chili peppers and finally the crabs. She then took the dish out of the pan.

A Zurich-style spicy crab is ready.

Then, the two cooks prepared three dishes and a soup, along with two desserts, making a total of six dishes and a soup with Su Lixia's dish.

Su Lixia clapped her hands and said, "Alright, that's enough for now, let's serve the food."

"Yes." After saying that, the two cooks went to deliver the vegetables.

Su Lixia carried her spicy crab at the back, and only placed the dish on the table after the two chefs had left.

Yuan Ruo craned her neck to look, and smelled the spiciness, then couldn't help but fan her nose.

Su Lixia picked up a piece for each of them and said, "Try it, it looks pretty good to me, I don't know if it suits your taste."

Lin Ziwen picked them up and looked at them: "Did you cut them in half?"

Su Lixia nodded: "That's right, that's it."

"How are we supposed to eat it if we can't peel it?"

"Look, like this." After saying that, Su Lixia picked up a piece and took a bite, the crunching sound making Yuan Ruo swallow hard.

After finishing her meal, Su Lixia excitedly stomped her foot, then filtered out the shell and spat it onto the table, saying, "The taste is not bad, and it's not very spicy. I also cleaned out the inedible parts in the middle, so you can just bite into it like this."

After listening to Su Lixia's explanation, Lin Ziwen hesitated for a moment, then ate it just like she did.

Upon seeing this, Yuan Ruo followed closely behind.

"It's really good, it's like opening the door to a new world. How did the princess come up with this idea?" Lin Ziwen finished eating and genuinely thought it was good.

Su Lixia had already prepared her explanation: "I didn't think much about it. I just thought that everyone does it this way where I'm from, so I just did it randomly, and that's how it ended up."

Hearing these ambiguous words, Lin Ziwen had no choice but to believe them, and could only praise, "That princess is quite skilled; she can make something so well."
