"We brought quite a lot of things, so let's pack away some things we don't need first. Oh, right, it seems we're having dinner with Young Master Lin, so let the chef prepare two exquisite and delicious dishes. I'll let him know."

Su Lixia raised an eyebrow and hummed, "Then you go. We'll go to his place when you come back."
A short while later, the two of them went to Lin Ziwen's place together.
This was unusual; there was no one outside the study. Su Lixia didn't want to go in directly, so she knocked on the door but no one answered.
"There's no one here. I wonder what they've all gone to do."
Xiaolian scratched her temple and said, "She's probably busy with something."
So the two hesitated at the door, thinking they should wait a little longer before going back.
It took quite a while before the housekeeper returned alone.
"Princess?" The emperor stepped forward, somewhat puzzled.
"Where is the young master?"
"Young Master went to attend to his business after lunch. Is there anything the Princess needs?"
Su Lixia said, "It's nothing, it's just..." As she spoke, Su Lixia noticed the bloodstains on the official's body.
"I just invited your young master to dinner. I had some dishes prepared for me, but please remember not to make too much here, so as not to waste it," Su Lixia said, trying to smooth things over.
The steward nodded: "Yes, Your Highness is so thoughtful. I will convey your wishes when the time comes, Your Highness, please rest assured."
"Alright, since the young master isn't here, we'll talk again tonight. I'll head back now."

"Your Majesty, please wait. This princess can go back by herself. I want to take a stroll in the small garden."
The emperor nodded and said, "Then please do as you please, Princess."
"Okay." Su Lixia said and left with Xiao Lian.
Xiao Lian asked in confusion as she walked, "Princess, why aren't we waiting? Aren't we supposed to talk about going back?"
"Let's talk about it when we meet tonight, there's no rush."
With that, the two quickly walked back.
Once inside, Su Lixia patted her chest; this was terrifying.
"Wasn't the princess going to stroll in the little garden? Why did she come straight back?" Su Lixia walked in a hurry on the way, and Xiao Lian could only follow closely behind, without even a chance to ask questions.
"Let's talk about it when we get back. I'm suddenly not in the mood, so let's not go. Do you have any snacks? I'm a little hungry."
Xiao Lian nodded, still catching her breath, and said in a breathless voice, "Yes, yes, Princess, please wait a moment."
Su Lixia nodded, then sat there in a daze.
"This is terrifying, this is terrifying. It seems the thief is already in the mansion. How can I tell him that nothing I do will make a difference?" Su Lixia thought to herself.
"I'm the one who saved your life." After the man woke up, Lin Ziwen went to interrogate him personally.
The man sneered and said, "Of course I know, but everyone says that the people here are loyal and righteous. I really didn't expect that woman to betray me without saying a word."
Putting aside the question of whether she values relationships or not, just based on her status, she won't protect you, much less help you.
“She wasn’t like this when she was complaining about your lord’s incompetence.”
