“She’s never always been like this.” Yi Zexuan’s expression remained unchanged.
Su Lixia, who was inside the car, was very curious about the noise and kept trying to peek out, but Xiaolian pulled her back.
Su Lixia ignored her, then made a stopping gesture and said, "Alright, alright, we're not going out anymore."
"That's good. But you mustn't peek out. The princess mustn't peek out until the carriage reaches the gate of the Prince's mansion."
Su Lixia raised an eyebrow and said, "Hmm, I know."
"Aunt Chun, Uncle Li." The young guard ran over first and greeted them warmly.
"Yes!" the two responded enthusiastically.
"We've been waiting for you to come back. Was your journey safe?" Aunt Chun asked.
The young guard nodded and said, "Everything is fine. We'll talk about it in detail when we get back."
After he finished speaking, Yi Zexuan's carriage arrived.
The female lead stared intently at the car, hoping that Yi Zexuan would see her as soon as he came out.
Lin Ziwen got off the carriage first, followed closely by Yi Zexuan.
"Greetings, Your Highness." The crowd knelt and bowed.
"Get up, everyone." Then he turned around and waited for Su Lixia's carriage.
As soon as the woman stood up, she saw that Yi Zexuan was already looking in the direction of the troops, with a hint of melancholy in his eyes.
"This princess certainly has quite the entourage," Aunt Chun and Uncle Li whispered to each other.
Yes, yes.
The carriage stopped, and everyone was very curious, staring intently at it.
The guards and maids first surrounded the carriage on both sides. The maid waited by the carriage, and then Xiaolian got off the carriage first.
"That's all there is to it." Aunt Chun looked at Xiao Lian and couldn't help but feel a little disappointed.
"Is the princess all ready?" the nanny asked.
Xiaolian nodded and said, "Everything is ready."
"Then let's bring the princess down."
"Okay," Xiaolian replied.
"What are you talking about? She's not a princess." Uncle Li rolled his eyes at her disdainfully.
Upon hearing this, Aunt Chun gave an awkward smile and continued watching.
"Princess, you may get down now." Xiaolian lifted the carriage curtain and then reached out to pull her.
The carriage was a bit high, and the dress had a train, so it wasn't easy to get off.
Seeing this, Lin Ziwen stepped forward and offered a helping hand.
Su Lixia whispered a thank you and then stepped down. Everyone was stunned and speechless; the princess was so beautiful that it was impossible to look away.
Upon seeing this, the woman felt a pang of inferiority. She had no status whatsoever, so how could she possibly compete with her?
A plan formed in her mind. She looked at Su Lixia, but what she was thinking about was the position of princess and Yi Zexuan's heart.
Yi Zexuan raised his hand, signaling to clear the way.
The people blocking the entrance dispersed and stood on both sides, and then Yi Zexuan and Su Lixia walked in side by side.
After everyone at the door had left, the female lead said sadly, "Did you see that? He didn't see me."
Upon hearing this, the maid frowned slightly and explained, "After all, the princess is new here, so the prince must have noticed her, but he just can't speak to her."
As the young lady stepped out of the mansion, her maidservant followed closely behind, hurriedly asking, "What are you going to do, Miss?"
"There's nothing for me to do here. I'll go for a walk and find some peace and quiet. I'll come back later."
"Alright." Then the master and servant left.
The group arrived at the main hall of the Prince's Mansion. Yi Zexuan directed Su Lixia to stand in front of the seat of honor, and then face everyone.
"Greetings, Princess! Long live the Princess!" Everyone knelt down and bowed to Su Lixia.
Su Lixia's heart skipped a beat; she had never seen such a large-scale operation aimed at her.
Su Lixia glanced at the old woman beside her, who nodded in acknowledgment. Su Lixia frowned slightly, not quite understanding.
Then he raised his hand and said, "Get up, everyone."
"Thank you, Princess."
