Chapter 22 I want to have a baby with my sister

When Jiang Li heard what Xiaogui said, he could no longer sit still and stood up immediately.

"How did he get hurt?" She looked nervous and frowned.

"She injured Prince Changxi, and the king punished him."

"Where is he now?"

"In my own residence..."

As soon as Xiaogui finished speaking, Jiang Li couldn't wait to find Jun Yuelan. Before leaving, he reminded Xiaogui and Xiaojie to help him take care of Jiang Nian.

Jun Yuelan endured twenty long whips. His back was covered with hideous whip marks and traces of blood. In the serious places, the bones were visible.

When Jiang Li arrived, Jun Yuelan was with her back to her, and was applying the ointment on the scars on her back awkwardly and clumsily.

Seeing this, Jiang Li quickly walked forward and snatched the ointment from his hand.

"Let me help you."

Hearing this familiar voice, Jun Yuelan froze and stood there in a daze.

"Sister...sister?"

He turned his head slightly and looked in disbelief at Jiang Li who was gently wiping his wound behind him.

"Why are you here? Who told you?"

Obviously, he wanted to hide it from her.

He wanted to see who had the bigger mouth, so he told her.

"If I hadn't known it by accident, would you never have told me?"

Jiang Li lowered her head and spoke in a light tone, without any emotion. Her long bangs covered her eyes, making it difficult to see her expression.

"Sister..." Jun Yuelan bit her lower lip, not knowing how to answer, "I didn't... I just didn't want to make you worry..."

"But what about the wounds on your body? Don't you plan to see me before they recover?" Jiang Li looked at the hideous scar. She knew that it was not caused by an ordinary weapon. At least for the orcs with strong self-healing abilities, it would take a few days for the scar to heal completely.

Jun Yuelan lowered his head and remained silent.

He really hadn't thought about these things yet... All he had in his mind was that he couldn't let Jiang Li see his injuries and he didn't want her to worry about him.

"Jun Yuelan, what do you think of me?"

Jun Yuelan was stunned and turned to look at Jiang Li nervously.

"Sister..." His lips trembled as he shouted out these two words tremblingly.

Jiang Li slowly raised his head, his eyes were red and his face was covered with traces of tears.

"Jun Yuelan, I don't like you only caring about me and forgetting about yourself. Why didn't you tell me when you were hurt? What do you think of me?"

In Jiang Li's heart, everything is mutual. Jun Yuelan treats her well, and similarly, she also wants to treat Jun Yuelan well.

"Why did you hide it from me? You were hiding here to apply medicine when you were injured. If I didn't come to find you, were you going to hide from me forever and never let me know? Have you ever thought about how worried I was about you when I accidentally heard the news?"

The more she spoke, the more excited she became, and her tears kept flowing like a tide.

Her tears continued to flow and fell on his shoulders drop by drop. The cold feeling frightened him and made him panic.

"Sister, don't cry...I was wrong, please don't cry."

He was at a loss as to gently wipe the tears from Jiang Li's face, but more tears flowed down his face.

"I was wrong. It was my fault. I shouldn't have kept it from you. I was just afraid that you would worry about me." He was full of self-blame and never thought it would be like this.

Especially when he saw Jiang Li crying, he became even more flustered.

Jiang Li raised his hand and gently wiped the tears from his face with the back of his hand, and sobbed a few times.

"Then you can't do this again in the future. Tell me everything that happens, or I won't be so easy to talk to next time."

Seeing that Jiang Li had forgiven her, Jun Yuelan finally felt relieved.

"Okay, sister, I'll remember this. It won't happen again, don't worry." He gently wiped away all the tears on her face.

"Let me help you apply the medicine."

"Okay." Jun Yuelan nodded and turned around.

Jiang Li took the ointment and gently rubbed the scars on his back, blowing on it as he did so, for fear of hurting him.

"How is it? Does it hurt?"

When Jun Yuelan saw Jiang Li asking him, of course he wanted to show his masculinity. Even if it hurt when he frowned, he had to endure it and smile and say it didn't hurt.

“How could it possibly hurt? This won’t make me give in so quickly… ah~~hiss…”

Jiang Lichengxin put his hand a little too heavy, which caused Jun Yuelan to roll her eyes and gasp in pain.

"Don't you feel pain after such a serious injury? How could your father be so cruel?" Jiang Li felt even more distressed when he looked at the wounds on his back.

Jun Yuelan smiled nonchalantly, "It's okay, I'm used to it."

"Um?"

"Didn't Elder Xingyu say that? I always loved getting into trouble when I was a kid, and Jun Changxi's mother also loved stirring up trouble, so it was common for me to be reported often."

Jiang Li lowered her head and remained silent. She couldn't imagine what kind of life Jun Yuelan had lived in the past, or even how strong his heart must be to make him so optimistic.

Seeing that Jiang Li behind him remained silent, Jun Yuelan couldn't help but become confused.

"Sister, why aren't you talking?"

Jiang Li, who was feeling sympathetic towards Jun Yuelan's situation, did not expect him to suddenly turn around. Unexpectedly, her hand with the ointment fell on his chest.

The warmth from her fingertips made Jun Yuelan's breathing tremble, and her beating heart couldn't help but skip a beat.

"Sister..." Layers of blush appeared on his face, moving back and gradually climbing up to the tips of his ears.
