Lu Yan frowned, thought for a moment, stuck the torch into a crack in the rocks, then lay down on the ground and listened carefully for a long time.
"What? You actually heard a noise?" Li Dachui asked in surprise, imitating Lu Yancai by pressing his ear to the ground to listen. "Let me listen... there's nothing there... Oh my god! What are those footsteps?"

"What?" Village Chief Li's heart tightened. "How did you two confirm that?"
"Hey village chief, never mind how we found it, we need to hurry and inform those officials!" Li Dachui had already started running towards the Northwest Army's encampment.
Village Chief Li finally snapped out of his daze, "Right, right, we need to hurry and call for help..."
Before he could finish speaking, he heard Lu Yancai say, "I'm going to find my older brother," and then all he could see was Lu Yancai's back.
Village Chief Li looked around, then said dejectedly, "Am I really getting old? How come everyone here reacts faster than me, and runs faster than me..."

“That’s true, but…” Chen wanted to say a few more words, but Jiang Qinyu interrupted her.
"Mother, Zheng will be fine, don't worry." Jiang Qinyu smiled.
Tonight's events were not a sudden occurrence, but rather something Lu Yanzheng had planned.
Everyone knows that there are thousands of Western Qiang soldiers hiding on Yunshan Mountain, but those people have held back for half a month without making a move, which makes people wonder if the other side is holding back some big move.

Before Lu Yanzheng left, he told her to stay home and not to go out, so she knew he must have made arrangements in advance.
Seeing that she could still smile, Madam Chen felt a little relieved and returned to her own courtyard, turning back every few steps.
Jiang Qinyu thought for a moment and then went to Shufan and Pan'er's side.

Jiang Qinyu patted his head and said, "You don't need to be so polite at home. Your uncle thought you were all asleep and didn't say anything."
She's starting to worry about Shufan. The more he studies with Qin Ziyi, the more well-behaved he becomes. She doesn't want a bookworm nephew!
Shu Fan shook his head and said, "Propriety cannot be abandoned. If we can't even treat our elders with respect at home, what are we doing outside but just putting on an act?"
