It was only then that Shen Congxin noticed that she was covered with a quilt. Although the quilt was covered with patches, it did not have any strange smell. Instead, it had a smell of sunshine.

"Yaojie, get out! Men and women are separate!"
Three voices entered Shen Congxin's ears at the same time. Jiang Ling and Jiang Suihe walked in. Jiang Yaojie originally wanted to come in as well, but Jiang Ling chased him out.
Jiang Yaojie could only stand at the door with a worried expression, looking pitifully into the room.
"What's wrong?" Jiang Ling asked, sitting on the edge of the bed and looking at Shen Congxin, who was covered in sweat.
"No...it's nothing." Shen Congxin shook his head, wiped the sweat from his forehead, and said to Jiang Ling.
"Suihe, go get that towel for your cousin!" Jiang Ling said, turning her head.
Soon, Jiang Suihe brought over a towel, and Jiang Ling gently wiped the sweat from Shen Congxin's forehead with the towel.
"Rest a little longer, it's still early. I'll call you when dinner is ready!" With that, he led Jiang Suihe out of the room.
As soon as Jiang Ling left, Shen Congxin hid under the covers and started sobbing. The scene with Jiang Ling was exactly the same as her mother's. Every summer when it was hot, Shen Congxin's mother would gently wipe the sweat from Shen Congxin's forehead with a towel.
Thinking of this, Shen Congxin felt as if her heart was being torn apart. She could only bite her lip to keep herself from crying out loud. She didn't know how long she cried before she slowly fell asleep again.
Shen Congxin thought no one had seen what had just happened, but little did she know that Jiang Ling had already seen it all. She sighed helplessly and said to Sui He, "Sui He, spend more time with this girl in the future."
