Chapter 32: Lu Family Village Has Water!

Upon reaching the boulder, one finds that where the boulder once stood, a huge hole has been blasted out, and rushing water is flowing down from the missing section.

"So this is where the turbidity problem lies," Jiang Ling thought, looking at the messy ground.

"Water! Water! Jiang family!" The village chief's excited, trembling voice reached Jiang Ling's ears.

Jiang Ling turned her head and saw the village chief running towards her, stumbling along. When the village chief saw the water source behind the boulder, he almost knelt down in excitement, but Jiang Ling caught him in time.

"Village chief, we have water now, but you need to call a few people to help me clean it up. The water source is quite murky right now, and I'm worried that if it flows down the mountain, it will harm the crops!" Jiang Ling said, deliberately moving the torch closer to the ground.

"Don't worry, Jiang, I'll handle this. Go back and rest! We've really been so grateful to you and your son these past few days!" As the village chief spoke, his slightly cloudy eyes gradually became moist.

Jiang Ling, worried that the village chief would be embarrassed, responded with a "yes" and turned to leave.

"Wenxi, are you sleepy? Come on, let's go home!" Jiang Ling said softly, holding the drowsy Jiang Wenxi in her arms.

"Ugh...okay...um..." Jiang Wenxi's closed eyes and constant nodding made Jiang Ling burst into laughter.

Jiang Ling carried Jiang Wenxi down the mountain. The main ditch was now completely dug. At this moment, the other people in Lujia Village were working hard to dig their own ditches.

Jiang Ling and Lu Youren are divorced and have not had a son, so they do not own any land in Lujia Village for the time being.

"Yaojie, it's time to go home!" Jiang Ling said repeatedly as she glanced at Jiang Yaojie standing to the side.

Both children were exhausted. They didn't eat breakfast when they got home and fell fast asleep in bed.

At noon, Jiang Ling slowly opened her eyes under Jiang Wenxi's "punches and kicks".

He gently patted his still slightly dizzy head and then got out of bed.

These past two days, I've been busy cleaning the ditches and haven't earned a single penny. I have four children to raise, Suihe to go to school, and I still want to shop. There are expenses everywhere, and I can't keep going like this!

The people of Lujia Village had been busy for a day and a night, and now almost every household in the village was catching up on sleep and resting, except for Jiang Ling, who was carrying a basket on her back and walking towards the mountains.

Just as Jiang Ling reached the back of the mountain, a conversation between unfamiliar men suddenly alerted her.
