Unexpectedly, a hand gently rested on Jiang Ling's body, and a sound that was both strange and familiar made Jiang Ling go overboard.
"Ms. Wen Xi?"
Jiang Ling turned her head and saw that Wen Xi's master, Ye Feng, was looking at her with a big smile.
"Master Ye...?" Jiang Ling called out tentatively, looking at the somewhat familiar person in front of her.
Ye Feng, a straightforward person, patted Jiang Ling on the shoulder and said, "Oh, Wenxi's mother, you still remember me! It's been quite a while!"
"Yes, yes! It's been so long since we last saw each other. How is Wenxi?" Jiang Ling asked.
"Alright, alright! Wenxi is really amazing! Come on, let's go inside and talk!" Without waiting for Jiang Ling to refuse, Ye Feng led her into the Six Doors.
"Come, come, try this fine tea! This is something only available in Shengjing! Come, come, try this pastry! You can't buy this pastry anywhere else!" Ye Feng enthusiastically introduced the tea and pastries in his hand, pushing them towards Jiang Ling.
Jiang Ling smiled, picked up a pastry, put it in her mouth, tasted it, and praised it highly. Just as the two were chatting, a figure came over at an extremely fast speed.
"Master! Master!"
Jiang Ling's heart skipped a beat. She turned her head and saw a little girl, tanned dark and with a body as strong as a cannonball, rushing towards Ye Feng.
However, when she saw Jiang Ling halfway through her run, she immediately changed direction.
"Mom! Mom! You've come ahead of schedule? I heard from my uncle that you were supposed to be here in two more days!" Jiang Wenxi rushed into Jiang Ling's arms.
If Jiang Ling hadn't been sitting in a chair, she probably would have been hit by Jiang Wenxi's impact.
"Mother!" Jiang Wenxi's voice choked with emotion, and her eyes reddened.
