Jiang Ling smiled coldly and said, "I don't know if I farted or not, but you're the one gossiping behind my back. You're speaking so well of Wang Laizi, it's hard for me not to overthink things. Could it be that I'm right and you're getting angry?"
"You!" The peasant woman was speechless after being rebuked by Jiang Ling. In the end, she glared at Jiang Ling and shut her mouth with a look of resentment.

Lu Chengcai quickly brought over two full buckets of water. The village chief carried one bucket and splashed it at Wang Laizi. The sudden stimulation made Wang Laizi move slightly, and he let out a groan.
Jiang Ling walked over and slapped Wang Laizi twice with great force, leaving clear handprints on his face.
Wang Laizi's mind was buzzing and a complete mess. He felt excruciating pain all over his body and face. He clearly felt like he was making love with Jiang Shi, so how could he suddenly faint? What exactly happened during that time? Wang Laizi racked his brains but still couldn't figure it out.
"Ah, where am I?" Wang Laizi struggled to open his eyes and look around. When he saw his surroundings clearly, his eyes widened. He tried to sit up from the ground, but found himself tied up.
“Jiang Shi! You…you are truly vicious!” Wang Laizi retorted.
Upon hearing this, everyone's gaze immediately fell on Jiang Ling.
