Upon hearing this, everyone showed expressions of fear and knelt down in unison.

"Long live the Empress Dowager!" the crowd shouted.

"Get up, all of you! Today is a flower appreciation banquet, don't let these rules spoil the atmosphere!" The authoritative voice surrounded her, and Jiang Ling shivered. If A Shu hadn't pulled her up, Jiang Ling would probably still be kneeling on the ground with her head down.

Jiang Ling stole a glance at the Empress Dowager. Perhaps feeling guilty, Jiang Ling sensed that the Empress Dowager's aura was terrifyingly powerful. Even just standing there, she exuded immense pressure.

At this moment, she had no interest in admiring the flowers and stayed close to Ashu, intending to remain invisible.

Just then, a voice made Jiang Ling tremble all over and sweat break out on her forehead.

"The Third Prince has arrived!"

Everyone bowed again, and the Third Prince waved his hand, signaling everyone to rise.

"Third Prince, what brings you here? You usually don't like these flowers and plants!" The Empress Dowager was quite surprised to see the Third Prince.

"Your Majesty, I have come today to take my younger sister back with me. We have something to discuss!" The Third Prince glanced at Jiang Ling and A-Shu without making a sound.

The Empress Dowager nodded without asking anything further; as long as it didn't disrupt her flower-viewing banquet, it didn't matter.

The Third Prince silently approached Jiang Ling and A Shu, grabbed one of them with each hand, and whispered a threatening message to Jiang Ling: "Not bad! You've gotten so bold in just a few days!"

The Empress Dowager wasn't stupid. She realized that the person the Third Prince was holding in his other hand wasn't her sister, and she quickly asked around, "Third Prince, who's that next to A-Shu?"
