Jiang Ling quickly followed the sound and then saw a scene that made her blood run cold and filled her with rage!
Jiang Yaojie was being held down on the ground by three or four other boys from the same village, while a boy named Zheng Yangyang, who was not far from him, was proudly holding up something.
Jiang Ling learned from the original owner's memories that the smug boy was Wang Daqiang, the son of a villager named Wang Laizi.
Wang Laizi usually likes to steal chickens and dogs, and bully the elderly, weak, women and children.
Wang Daqiang, influenced by what he saw and heard, spent his days leading boys of similar age from the village to cause trouble in the village.
Although the village chief had tried to talk to Wang Laizi several times, the guy was completely unyielding. In the end, even the village chief couldn't do anything about him and let him run wild.
"Hey! You're such a tough guy, an orphan! Da Niu, Gou Dan, pry his mouth open and let him taste my virgin urine!" Wang Daqiang said, starting to take off his pants.
The two boys, whom Wang Daqiang called Da Niu and Gou Dan, were even more gloating, reaching out to forcefully pry open Jiang Yaojie's mouth.
"What are you doing!" Jiang Ling shouted, quickly appearing in front of them.
The boys seemed not to have expected anyone to pass by at this moment, and they were all startled. While they were stunned, Jiang Ling quickly helped Jiang Yaojie up and protected him behind her.
However, when the boys realized that the person who came was Jiang Ling, their expressions became fearless again. Wang Dagang, in particular, said with a disdainful look, "Jiang, I advise you to mind your own business! This kid has nothing to do with you."
Jiang Ling knew that the original owner's cowardice was common knowledge in the village. Not only did her peers ridicule and mock her, but even some of the younger children did not take her seriously.
Jiang Ling glared at Wang Dagang and said, "Logically speaking, as an elder, I shouldn't interfere in the affairs of you juniors!"
“However…” At this point, Jiang Ling stepped forward, grabbed Wang Dagang’s wrist, and dragged him in front of Jiang Yaojie. Pointing to the bruises on Jiang Yaojie’s face, she said, “But you not only hit my son, you also tried to humiliate him. I can’t just ignore this!”
"Heh... Jiang Shi, do you think you can control me? I'm only calling you Jiang Shi out of respect. Don't really think you're my elder!" Wang Dagang said, spitting at Jiang Ling with disdain.
"Wang Dagang, I'll ask you one more time, are you going to apologize or not?" Jiang Ling's eyes turned cold as she glared at Wang Dagang and snapped at him.
Jiang Ling was an adult, while Wang Dagang was still just a teenager. Faced with Jiang Ling's reprimand, he was somewhat flustered, but he still stubbornly said, "I won't apologize! What can you do to me?"
"How about it? I'll teach you a lesson on behalf of your father today!" With that, Jiang Ling slapped Wang Dagang's buttocks without any mercy.
The slap was so powerful that it echoed through the valley.
"Hiss... Jiang, you dare hit me!" Wang Dagang grinned, looking utterly incredulous!
"Wang Dagang, how dare you call me Jiang Shi? You disrespectful bastard! Yaojie, go find me a tree branch! Today I'm going to teach you a lesson on behalf of your father!" With that, Jiang Ling gave Wang Dagang's buttocks a few more hard slaps.
Everyone present was stunned by what they saw, and Wang Dagang burst into tears with a loud "howl".
"Yaojie, hurry up and go!" Jiang Ling said, glaring at the dumbfounded Jiang Yaojie.
Jiang Yaojie snapped out of his daze and quickly grabbed a tree branch, handing it to Jiang Ling. Jiang Ling then started whipping Wang Dagang's buttocks while demanding, "Are you going to apologize? Are you going to apologize?"
"Aunt Jiang... Waaah, Aunt Jiang, please stop hitting me! I apologize! I apologize, okay?!" Wang Dagang's wailing echoed through the valley.
"Apologize!" Jiang Ling pointed at Jiang Yaojie and glared at Wang Dagang.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." Wang Dagang apologized to Jiang Yaojie with a sob in his voice, then broke free from Jiang Ling's wrist and ran out of the valley, whimpering.
As for the few teenagers who followed him, they were probably terrified, all standing there with their heads down, at a loss for what to do. They seemed afraid that they would end up like Wang Dagang.
Jiang Ling glanced at them and said sternly, "I'm telling you, Yaojie is my son, not the bastard you call an orphan! If I hear you say that again, I'll tear your mouths apart! Do you hear me?!"
"I...I...I heard it!" The boys, still half-grown, stumbled and ran out of the valley in fright.
Jiang Ling watched the disappearing figures with satisfaction. Just as she was about to turn around and comfort Jiang Yaojie, she heard a soft sob coming from behind her.
He quickly turned around and saw Jiang Yaojie squatting on the ground, crying softly, as if he had been holding it in for a long time.
At first, Jiang Ling thought Jiang Yaojie was upset because of what Wang Dagang had said earlier.
She rushed to Jiang Yaojie's side, only to find him squatting on the ground, frantically digging at the surrounding dirt with his hands, mumbling, "It's broken! It's broken! Everything's broken! What do we do! What do we do!"
Jiang Ling was a little confused. She gently stroked Jiang Yaojie's head and said to him, "Yaojie, don't cry. With your mother here, no one will bully you!"
Unexpectedly, Jiang Yaojie wiped the tears from his eyes with his mud-covered hands and said in despair, "Mother! My bird eggs! My bird eggs! They were for you and my sister! But they're broken! What should I do? What should I do!"
As Jiang Yaojie spoke, his hands trembled as he carefully dug out the liquid that was full of mud. At this moment, Jiang Ling felt very uncomfortable.
