The food was served quickly: a large bowl of steamed rice with wild vegetables and stewed meat. It didn't look like cured meat, but it smelled delicious. Lin Yinan picked up a piece and tasted it.
The stewed meat had a delicate texture, tender yet firm, and was so delicious that Lin Yinan picked up several more pieces.
"Is it tasty?"
Having slept for so long, Lin Yinan was starving. Her mouth was stuffed full, making her look like a cute little hamster. She nodded vigorously.
Finally, she poured the remaining broth into her rice and ate it all.
Yun Mo collected the bowls without calling Qian Wu, and washed them himself by the bucket.
After setting the bowl down, he wiped his wet hands on his clothes and, knowing that Lin Yinan was going for a walk to digest her food, went over to help her.
"Want to go for a walk?"
It was completely dark, and the road was slippery. Lin Yinan was afraid of falling, so she let him support her.
Remembering that she had slept for a whole day, Yun Mo seemed thoughtful, worried that something might be wrong with her health.
He unconsciously frowned, and said casually, "Anan, does your chest still hurt?"
Lin Yinan was unaware that he had changed her clothes, and felt a dull ache.
"Doctor Lü said you suffered some internal injuries and need to rest carefully." After thinking for a while, Yun Mo continued, "But we're setting off tomorrow, and the journey will be bumpy. Plus, you're pregnant. How about I use some of my internal energy to help you heal?"
Lin Yinan was stunned. Could he really do something that only happens in martial arts novels?
"Will it hurt the baby?" She still had some concerns.
Hearing her say that, Yun Mo was pleased and his voice rose slightly, "No."
"Let's go back then." She was a little sleepy and wanted to heal her injuries as soon as possible so she would suffer less on the way.
Lin Yinan couldn't hold on any longer. Yun Mo channeled his internal energy into her for a short while, and she fell asleep again.
