Yu Xunmei slapped him twice across the face, but Xinming didn't utter a sound.
Knowing what she was about to do, the maid quietly took a few steps back while holding the wine pot, trying to minimize her presence.
Yu Xunmei shook her sore hand and looked at the samurai sword hanging at Xinming's waist.
The sword was drawn from its sheath, its blade as sharp as ice, emanating a chilling aura in the candlelight.
She reached out and groped around Xinming's chest for a while, then aimed the blade at him and plunged it in with all her might.

Yu Xunmei pulled the knife out with a sudden force, and Xinming immediately collapsed to the ground, dead.
Yu Xunmei tossed the knife aside and took out a handkerchief to carefully wipe her hands, which were slightly red from the exertion.

"Tell the butler to throw him into a mass grave to feed the wild dogs!"
"I'll go right away."
As if granted a pardon, the maidservant grabbed the wine pot and rushed out the door.
Composing herself, Yu Xunmei calmly walked out of the house.

Yu Xunmei hummed a little tune as she strolled leisurely through the corridor, enjoying the rainy night scenery.
