Chapter 14 Arguing over an egg

Lu Yunfeng nodded, "I understand. My second brother and I are going to Lijiaba to buy chickens and ducks later. Don't bother her at home. I'll find a chance to talk to her."

The two brothers carried baskets on their backs and walked south. Lijiaba was south of Wangjia Village, just over two hills away. Lijiaba was located by a lake, and the villagers lived around the lake. The paddy fields were fertile and produced a lot of rice, fish, shrimp and other aquatic products. They were richer than many people in the town and had their own market.

Lu Yunfeng had come here a few times with his father before and knew the address of the family selling chickens and ducks. He directly ordered two hundred chickens, two hundred ducks, ten goslings, two male geese, and three hens that were laying eggs.

Qin Xiaozhou was too fat and climbed up too slowly, unlike Lu Yan who was more agile and quickly swung down with a machete. The wild boar also rushed down. Qin Xiaozhou snatched the machete and let Lu Yan run first. Perhaps because this body had slaughtered too many pigs since it was a child, it quickly estimated that the pig was less than 200 pounds and was a boar.
