The tigers were also driven into a cage. Three cages were placed side by side, without even a bowl of water. They were probably being fed on human blood.
Jiang Yue stopped talking, fearing the guards outside would notice. In the moonlight streaming in from the window, she checked their cages.
They were all brown iron cages, tied with thick, heavy chains. Iron is precious; the people behind this organization are truly generous. But come to think of it, this casino made its money back in just a few nights, so it's definitely worth it.
A private room costs fifty taels of silver, and the steamed buns as rewards are only one tael of silver each. The person behind this is really good at making money.
Those who come for entertainment are all from wealthy families who spend money like water. Food and money are not worth mentioning in their eyes.
She took out a small flashlight and shone it on the end of the chain. It was fastened with a heavy iron stone. There was no way to open it here for the time being.

She looked around the lobby and found a jar of wine that a guest had drunk empty in the corner. She picked it up with both hands and threw it to the ground.

Early in the morning is the time when all human functions are in deep sleep. The drowsy guard outside was awakened by the crisp sound and looked frightened.
"What's broken?"
"Should we go in and take a look?" asked the small and timid man.
“There may be wild beasts inside…”
Another person said nonchalantly, "Why are you afraid? They're all chained. Let's go in and take a look. If anything happens to the beasts and the Lord blames us, we'll be dead too."
As he spoke, he took out the key from his pocket and opened the door a crack.
But the room was pitch black, the moonlight had dimmed, and the iron railings on the stage blocked his view, so he couldn't see clearly. He had no choice but to open the door and go in.
The man went in and didn't come out for a long time. The two people outside were anxious, looked at each other, worried that something might happen, and went in together.
As soon as they stepped into the house, they were hit hard on the back of their heads and fell to the ground with a thud.
Jiang Yue found a bunch of keys from them, but she didn't know if they were useful, so she took them away.
When a faint light appeared in the sky, just when the guards were changing, the two of them went around to a secluded courtyard, climbed over the wall, and walked back to their rented house.
Jiang Yue was relieved after seeing that the mules were still there, and then she let the others out.
The others stared with their eyes wide open, as if they couldn't believe what they saw, as if there was a different place. There was everything in it, food and supplies, and there was even grain in the fields!
The white tiger lowered its head, its ears trembling in fear. It saw a dead tiger in the corner...
The little cat looked at the self-proclaimed boss with even greater admiration. They really were amazing! They could even use magic!
Jiang Yue turned her sore neck and said, "I'm too tired. I'm going to take a nap first. When I wake up, I'll show you how to make the chain."
"Look~"
These ones were also very tired, so when they reached a safe place, they lay down to rest.
Jiang Yue slept until mid-afternoon before finally feeling refreshed. Since coming to this world, she'd been sleeping late and waking up late, leading a healthy lifestyle. Staying up all night was too much for her.
She held a bowl of dumplings and ate while watching Jiang Nian try out the keys.
There were five keys in the bunch, but none of them could open the door.
Jiang Yue wanted to ask them if they knew where the key was, but they were all locked up and couldn't turn back into human form.
Jiang Nian threw the keys on the table, picked up his own bowl, and ate one dumpling at a time.
These two ate with relish, and the other three in the cage stared at them and drooled.
Unfortunately, making dumplings was too much trouble, and Jiang Yue was too stingy to give them any. She remembered that she still had several mules piled up, and she could give one to them to share.
The mule was taken out, but before he could put it in his mouth, he heard a commotion coming from the street.
Jiang Yue was quick to collect them all. She and Jiang Nian had already changed their clothes and hairstyles, and then put something on their faces.
“Bang, bang, bang!”
"Someone inside, open the door!"
After wiping it off in a few strokes, Jiang Nian walked out to open the door, "I'm coming."
There were seven or eight police officers outside the door. They were holding big swords. They pushed Jiang Nian aside and rushed into the yard.
Jiang Yue was horrified, "Sir, what happened?"
"Don't ask about things you shouldn't ask about!" the leading officer shouted, and several people quickly searched the house, even the cellar.
"Did you hear any strange noises last night?"
The two pretended to be scared and said, "Sir, I didn't hear anything."
Several officers came and went in a hurry, but when they didn't find what they were looking for, they rushed out again and started knocking on the next door.
Jiang Nian closed the door and went in to eat his dumplings.
When there was no more noise on the street, Jiang Yue let the mules out. They looked at the mules and drooled all over the floor.
Jiang Nian was so disgusted that he used a knife to cut a mule into three parts and threw them into three cages. He could only divide one mule equally, and there was no extra one.
Jiang Yue thought for a moment and said, "I'll ask you questions, and if they're correct, you'll meow."
"Do you know who has the key?"
"Look~"
"On a man?"
If the kitten doesn't meow, then it's on the woman's body.
