Lan Yamei scoffed. So that's what this older sister thought of her; she'd better show off her skills. Then, she snapped the wonton bowl in two with a crisp "crack," and, shaking the broken bowl, confidently declared, "Are you afraid of them? No matter how many come, I'll beat them all! From now on, you'll be following me, and you'll only be the one bullying others!"
"Really?" Aunt Guan looked at the bowl broken in two and asked with bright eyes. This was a side of the little boss that no one knew. Amazing! He's even brought out his potential when he was hungry.
"How about I have another one!" Lan Yamei reached out to take Aunt Guan's empty wonton bowl and performed another one.
Aunt Guan hurriedly snatched the bowl away, saying, "Don't waste it, that old man Ouyang is so stingy!" She turned around and delivered it to the wonton stall, then came back and asked, "When did you learn kung fu? I didn't know that."
"True masters don't reveal their skills; it's a family tradition! I don't want to be too violent unless absolutely necessary," Lan Yamei said modestly.
The two men smiled at each other, packed up their stall, loaded a cart full of goods, and left.

Back at the dilapidated hut, Aunt Guan took out four or five taels of silver and handed them over, saying, "These were all taken from those guys. And this jade pendant, although it has the words 'Murong' engraved on it, it must belong to a servant of the Murong family. I don't know what it's for. But the material is quite good. I'll take it to sell tomorrow and get a few taels of silver to use."
“You take it. You manage the money at home. I’ll just focus on earning money. Tomorrow we’ll go to town to buy a carriage. Pulling a carriage is really tiring; my shoulders are all chafed raw.” Lan Ya Mei didn’t care who managed the money because the original owner trusted Aunt Guan very much.
"Alright, having a carriage will make things much easier for us. Let's get some sleep and head into town first thing tomorrow morning."
They blew out the oil lamp and quickly fell asleep on the only bed.
