It was Old Man An who spoke.
Anwu had previously told him that the field was leaking.
Old Man An went to the field and saw that there was indeed a leak. He repaired it and came back just in time to hear what An Wu was saying.
He wasn't stupid; after thinking about it carefully, he realized there was nothing he didn't understand.
Anwu deliberately sent him away.
"Dad, it's nothing, he's just talking nonsense!"
An Darong, afraid of being scolded by his father, stood up and said.
He wanted to keep it a secret.
Even Old Man An has to pay his respects!
Old Man An glanced at An Wu and said, "Xiao Wu, you tell me, if you don't explain yourself clearly, you can forget about staying in this house from now on."
Anwu was furious.
He didn't care about anything else and told everyone everything.
Old Man An really didn't expect the Xia family to be so troublesome. He stamped the hoe in his hand and said with a cold face, "Have you all forgotten what I said before? I told you not to provoke them anymore, can't you remember?"
"Father, we were wrong."
An Darong quickly admitted his mistake, and the others followed suit.
I'm home.
Old Man An beat up Xia Shi in front of them.
To prevent her from catching demons again.
Old Man An bluntly stated that if she continued to misbehave, he would divorce her and send her back to her parents' home.
Seeing that Old Man An was really angry this time, Xia didn't dare to say anything more, but she hated An Wanwan and the others even more in her heart.
The news quickly spread throughout the village, and many who had wanted to take advantage of An Wanwan's family dared not make a move.
This naturally includes Jiang Tao.
An Wanwan and her family were thus able to enjoy a period of peace and quiet.
Nobody came to their house to cause trouble.
Now that An Wanwan's morning sickness has subsided, she's started thinking about how to make money. Their shop is still making some money, but it's far too little.
I can't think of what to sell in the shop.
An Wanwan then asked An Miaomiao to go shopping together.
As we walked...
A young man's voice called out from ahead: "Plums, delicious plums, eight coins a pound, fifteen coins for two pounds..."
Upon hearing that plums were for sale...
An Miaomiao said to An Wanwan, "Wanwan, I've been wanting to eat plums for a long time. I waited for so long but no one was selling them. There are no plum trees in our village, so I thought there weren't any plums here. It turns out the plums here come out so late, almost in July. Let's go buy a few pounds."
They walked over and found fruit vendors all around.
Not only plums, but also peaches, watermelons, and cantaloupes were sold.
"So much fruit, we've made it today."
An Miaomiao was overjoyed and planned to buy some of each kind.
An Wanwan said with a smile in her eyes, "Miaomiao, I've thought of something to do."
"ah?"
An Miaomiao didn't react.
An Wanwan leaned closer and whispered.
After she finished speaking, An Miaomiao's eyes lit up: "That's right, I didn't even think we could do that. Shall we buy all the fruit they're selling?"
An Wanwan gently tapped An Miaomiao's head: "Are you silly? It's too expensive to buy from them. If you want to buy, you should buy from the place where they are grown!"
"That's right."
An Miaomiao laughed.
You won't find out from the fruit sellers.
An Wanwan didn't bother with that; she simply called An Miaomiao and went to Fuyun Tower together.
Manager Tong was directing the waiters in the restaurant to clean when he suddenly saw them arrive. He greeted them, "Miss Wanwan, Miss Miaomiao, what brings you to our Fuyun Tower today?"
