The drunkard realized what was happening and suddenly pushed away the companions who were supporting him, then staggered to Mu Jin's side.
The people dining at the table next to Mu Jin all looked frightened and stood up to run outside to avoid her.
They feared that if they were even a step too slow, the drunkards would suddenly target them, and they would suffer that undeserved misfortune.
The drunkard braced himself against the edge of Mu Jin's dining table, grinning widely at her. His smile held a lewd undertone, accompanied by a foul-smelling burp.
Upon hearing the sound, Mu Jin turned her face away, pressing two fingers against the tip of her nose with a look of disgust.
Seeing Mu Jin's reaction, the drunkard wasn't angry. He just chuckled and asked Mu Jin, "Are you looking down on me?"
Mu Jin looked up at him and said, "So what if it is?"
The drunkard continued with a smile, "You've got personality, I like it. May I ask where this young master is from and what his name is?"
Mu Jin scoffed, "What's it to you?"
The diners in the inn gasped when they saw Mu Jin being so rude to the drunkard, and they whispered among themselves that these two outsiders were probably in for trouble today.
Even at this point, the drunkard remained unperturbed, instead staring intently at Mu Jin.
He felt that Mu Jin's noble and arrogant aura, which emanated from within, possessed a captivating beauty that drew him in with every glance and word.
Suddenly, the drunkard pulled the chair next to Mu Jin away and plopped down on it. Upon seeing this, Nangong Min immediately clenched his fists and was about to get up, but Mu Jin's gaze stopped him.
The drunkard said with a grin, "Young master, it's alright if you don't want to say anything. Let me introduce myself first."
My name is He Dazui, and I'm from Liangcheng. However, I don't like living in this noisy city; I prefer living in the mountains. Would you be interested in coming to my house for a visit?
After the drunkard finished speaking, his companions couldn't help but join in the commotion.
Mu Jin suddenly chuckled and said, "Hey He Da Zui, did your mother name you after your big mouth? Does she know how annoying your big mouth is?"
Those around Mu Jin held their tongues when they heard her say that, wanting to laugh but afraid of causing trouble. This was because He Da Zui (Big Mouth He) lived up to his name; his mouth was so big it could swallow a cow.
He Dazui could tell that Mu Jin was laughing at her, so he stopped laughing.
Suddenly, he raised his hand to hug Mu Jin's shoulder, but Mu Jin seemed to have anticipated it. She grabbed the drunkard's wrist with one hand, twisted it around, and pressed He Da Zui down onto the dining table, making him howl in pain.
Upon seeing this, He Dazui's accomplices immediately stepped forward to attack Mu Jin, but were stopped by He Dazui.
"Don't move. This kid has a wild streak, which I like. Don't let him get his face bruised."
At this moment, the innkeeper, seeing that the two sides were deadlocked, hurriedly stepped forward to break the deadlock.
"Gentlemen, please calm down. You are from out of town and may not know this, but Master He is a friend of Magistrate Li of this county. Please let go of his hands and apologize to Master Li properly. Don't be unreasonable."
Mu Jin scoffed: "I don't care who my friends are. If someone is rude and foul-mouthed, I won't be polite to her."
After Mu Jin finished speaking, she released her grip and kicked He Dazui, along with the table, to the ground.
Seeing He Dazui kicked to the ground by Mu Jin, the drunkard's accomplices immediately surrounded and attacked him.
Nangong Min suddenly surrounded Mu Jin behind him, drew his sword, and with nimble movements, knocked the men who were attacking him to the ground in the blink of an eye.
One of them fell to Mu Jin's feet. Just as he was about to stand up, Mu Jin pressed him to the ground, rendering him unable to move.
Chaos erupted inside the inn; tables and chairs were overturned, and dishes were scattered everywhere. Other guests scattered and watched the sudden conflict in horror.
The men who were beaten down were not convinced. Normally, in this Liangcheng, when they were the ones beating others, no one dared to touch them.
The group scrambled to their feet, roared, and charged at Nangong Min again. However, before they could even get close to him, Nangong Min swept their legs and kicked them all out onto the street outside the inn.
The group repeated this attack, and each time, Nangong Min beat the men into a sorry state.
At this moment, Zhao Dazui no longer coveted Mu Jin's beauty. He got up from the ground, roared, picked up a chair next to him, and was about to smash it towards Nangong Min.
But before the chair could even get close to Nangong Min, it was cleaved in two by Nangong Min's sword.
Zhao Dazui was not going to give up. He swung his fist and charged at Nangong Min with a shout. Before the onlookers could see clearly, Zhao Dazui was kicked by Nangong Min and sent flying to the base of the wall.
Zhao Dazui struggled to sit up, but the pain in his chest prevented him from supporting himself. He could only stare wide-eyed at Nangong Min and Mu Jin, his face full of anger and resentment.
Seeing the group of people lying on the ground, howling in pain, and the mess of tables and chairs, Nangong Min walked over to Mu Jin and asked, "Are you alright?"
Mu Jin smiled back at Nangong Min: "They're just a few small fry, what could they possibly do?"
When the people on the street saw the drunkard lying on the ground crying and wailing, they couldn't help but feel a sense of relief.
At this moment, an old man secretly approached Mu Jin and Nangong Min, hiding behind them and whispering.
"Young masters, you are from out of town and don't know this, but these men are not to be trifled with. They are bandits from outside the city, and even the county magistrate usually gives them some leeway. While they are still unable to get up and the officials haven't arrived yet, you should hurry up and escape."
"bandit?"
Mu Jin and Nangong Min were taken aback, because with these people's mediocre skills, the soldiers of Liangcheng couldn't possibly be helpless against them.
