To Nangong Min's surprise, Mu Jin actually wanted to give him a sachet.
He stared blankly at the sachet Mu Jin handed him, a surge of joy welling up inside him.
Seeing Nangong Min's stunned expression, Mu Jin held the sachet and gently waved it in front of him, asking again, "Do you like it?"
Nangong Min then came to his senses. He took the sachet from Mu Jin and nodded quickly, saying happily, "I like it, I like it very much."
Mu Jin chuckled: "Can you even see what this sachet looks like? Then say you like it."
Nangong Min gripped the sachet tightly in his hand, his eyes sparkling, and said softly, "Ah Jin gave it to me, I like everything."
The merchant, assuming the two were old friends exchanging gifts, chimed in, "The two gentlemen have such a good relationship."
Nangong Min said to the merchant, "She is the one I love, and our relationship is naturally good."
Upon hearing Nangong Min's words, the vendor's eyes widened in surprise. He opened his mouth, unsure how to respond.
Even in the open-minded Dongyue Kingdom, people would often gossip and point fingers at those who had homosexual tendencies.
Therefore, most people with homosexual tendencies keep it to themselves and dare not talk about it openly.
So it was normal for the vendor to react that way. Mu Jin glanced at the dumbfounded vendor, smiled and shook her head, put a few coins on the stall and then turned to leave.
Seeing that Mu Jin was about to leave, Nangong Min quickly caught up with her and took her hand.
"Ah Jin, why don't you pick out a sachet for yourself? I'd like to give one to you too."
Mu Jin smiled and shook her head: "The things Qing'er made for me were quite good."
Nangong Min nodded slightly upon hearing Mu Jin's words. He was overjoyed to receive the sachet from Mu Jin, and the corners of his mouth turned up in a smile that he couldn't suppress.
"Thank you, Jin. I like it very much and I'm very happy."
Mu Jin glanced at Nangong Min, who was no longer anxious because of her, and couldn't help but smile.
The two held hands and continued walking with the flow of people, chatting as they looked at the various trinkets being sold on the street.
Suddenly Mu Jin stopped in her tracks, stunned. She raised her hand to rub her eyes, but the person in front of her had not disappeared.
The person with peach blossom eyes, a black hair bun, and a gentle smile stood in the crowd, looking at me with a mischievous grin.
Mu Jin's eyes were filled with nothing but confusion and shock.
As Mu Jin stopped and looked ahead in shock, Nangong Min couldn't help but follow her gaze in confusion.
Su Yi!
The name Su Yi exploded in Nangong Min's mind, and in his nervousness, he couldn't help but tighten his grip on Mu Jin's hand.
Mu Jin, whose hand was aching from Nangong Min's grip, finally realized that the person standing in front of them was Su Yi.
Since Su Yi arrived at Immortal Town one after the other, it can only mean that he had just left the capital and this kid followed right after him. What about their agreement not to see each other for ten days?
Su Yi has broken his promise again!
Thinking of this, Mu Jin couldn't help but feel a little annoyed.
Su Yi's face and overall demeanor were too eye-catching. Facing the gazes of passersby, he glanced at Mu Jin, then looked down at Nangong Min, who was tightly holding Mu Jin's hand.
A cold, sharp light flashed in Su Yi's eyes, but he quickly concealed it perfectly, and a perfect smile appeared on his lips.
Su Yi strode towards Mu Jin, opened his arms and hugged her tightly. With a sidestep, he deftly broke the clasped hands between Nangong Min and Mu Jin.
"Ah Jin, it's been so long! Are you surprised to see me? I've missed you terribly!"
The surrounding people watched as the two handsome men embraced, and couldn't help but shake their heads and sigh. Such outstanding looks, it was truly a pity if they were homosexual.
Mu Jin felt uncomfortable as Su Yi hugged her tightly and pushed him away.
"Get to the point, don't resort to violence!" Mu Jin said angrily.
Su Yi, who was pushed away, was not angry. He was still shameless and staring at her with a smile. Mu Jin felt a chill run down her spine.
"What are you laughing at? You promised to see me in ten days, and you didn't keep your promise!"
Su Yi replied, "You do the math yourself. Have we been apart for more than ten days? It's been over half a month already!"
Mu Jin replied, "You know what I'm saying. If you really had stayed away from the General's Mansion for ten days, would you have caught up with me so quickly, the moment I arrived at Immortal Town?"
Su Yi was amused by Mu Jin's act of falsely accusing him.
"Ah Jin, can't you be reasonable? As a friend, you lied to me first. You said you were going into seclusion at the General's Mansion to refine medicine for the Great General at the border and that it was inconvenient to receive guests."
"Even though I want to see you every day, I have to force myself to resist. If it weren't for the River Lantern Festival, I wouldn't be able to resist taking you out to see the bustling streets. Right now, you're still keeping me in the dark. Who broke their promise this time?"
Hearing Su Yi say this, Mu Jin couldn't help but feel a little guilty. She touched the tip of her nose and calculated when the River Lantern Festival was. It seemed to be ten days ago, which was five days after she left the capital.
"No, don't try to fool me! Even if you only realized I was missing five days after I left the capital, it's impossible for you to catch up with me so quickly. You must have broken your promise the next day and gone to my residence only to find me missing."
Su Yi snorted coldly and said, "Don't believe me? You can ask the maids who eat my Prince Yi's snacks every day. I went to your general's mansion on the day of the River Lantern Festival and found you were missing."
"I'm frantic with worry because I know you left the capital and are being hunted down!"
"We traveled at breakneck speed, exhausting countless horses. We only got an hour of rest each day before continuing on our journey, leaving many people behind. I only brought Ling Feng and Ling Yu with me, hoping to see you as soon as possible so I could feel at ease."
Mu Jin felt a little guilty, and she muttered softly, "What could you possibly be worried about? Min is here with me, isn't he?"
Upon hearing Mu Jin mention Nangong Min, Su Yi finally noticed Nangong Min, who had been standing quietly beside them.
Su Yi revealed his lazy, roguish smile again, curving his lips as he looked at Nangong Min.
"On behalf of my Ah Jin, I thank Young Master Nangong for taking care of me over the past two weeks."
After Su Yi finished speaking, he actually bowed to Nangong Min.
Nangong Min understood the implied meaning in Su Yi's words, so he returned the greeting.
“Your Majesty, there is no need for you to be so polite. Now, Ajin is no longer a member of the royal family, and my relationship with her has never needed to be measured by words of thanks.”
Su Yi's lips curled into a half-smile as he said, "Oh? Is that so? But I'm curious, what is the purpose of your arduous journey to Nangong Shenzong with Ah Jin?"
"Could it be that your memories have returned, and you remembered that you have a spirit maiden fiancée, Bai Ling'er, in the Miao Palace, so you're rushing back to marry her?"
Upon hearing Su Yi mention Bai Ling'er again in front of Mu Jin, Nangong Min's face instantly turned deathly pale.
