"I'm suddenly not sleepy anymore. What are you all talking about? Anyway, you've woken me up, so why don't we chat together?"
Mu Jin had no idea what Su Yi was up to. One minute he was acting like he was going to cut ties with her, and the next he was back in front of her and Nangong Min.
"We commoners dare not presume to be worthy of Your Highness, nor do we have anything to discuss with you, Min, don't you agree?"
"You!" Su Yi glared at Mu Jin.
Nangong Min walked up to Su Yi and said, "A Jin is right. King Yi must be tired from traveling for days. Please go back to your room and rest early."
Su Yi glanced at Mu Jin, then at Nangong Min, and suddenly smiled. He sat down in the chair next to Mu Jin and poured her a cup of tea.
"Why are you so petty, Ah Jin? I was just joking with you outside the inn to see how you would react."
"I never expected Ah Jin to be so stingy and so easily teased!"
Mu Jin scoffed, "Are you kidding? I think what King Yi said makes a lot of sense."
Su Yi stiffened upon hearing Mu Jin's words, then laughed again.
"Ah Jin, don't be in such a hurry to get rid of me. I have some information that you're very interested in. Don't you want to hear it before you consider whether or not to let me go?"
"Not interested!" Mu Jin said.
"The person you're waiting for tonight probably won't be arriving. Aren't you going to listen to this news?"
"How did you know we were waiting for someone?" Mu Jin asked Su Yi with a cold, sharp gaze.
Su Yi replied, "Of course I know. I have plenty of information. For example, why the elders of the Nangong Divine Sect are not here tonight."
Su Yi paused, then smiled at Mu Jin and said, "Now that I've told you the reason, does A Jin still want to kick me out?"
