Once the two baskets were full, Mu Jin asked Mu Yan to bring the horse. After placing the two baskets on the horse's back, she mounted the horse and said to Su Yi and Mu Yan, "Go to that mountain area over there, quickly."
After saying that, Mu Jin rode off on her horse, not waiting for Su Yi and Mu Yan.
Su Yi and Mu Yan reacted quickly, mounted their horses, and chased after Mu Jin.
Upon arriving at the location, Mu Jin picked up a bundle of gunpowder with a long fuse attached.
Looking at a cliff several dozen feet away, Mu Jin identified the boulder on the cliff as the target for the explosion. She took out a tinderbox and lit the fuse.
He quickly attached gunpowder to his bow and arrow, and with a sudden burst of strength, shot the gunpowder at the boulder on the cliff edge more than a hundred feet away.
"Run!"
Mu Jin fired the gunpowder, then turned around and pulled Su Yi and Mu Yan to hide on a boulder with their backs to the gunpowder.
"Open your mouth! Cover your ears!"
As soon as Mu Jin finished speaking, Su Yi and Mu Yan, looking completely bewildered, followed Mu Jin's example, squatting down, opening their mouths, and covering their ears.
Just as the three of them covered their ears, they heard a deafening roar behind them, followed by a bright light accompanied by pebbles and wood chips, which swept in like a whirlwind.
The three of them instantly felt a sense of impending doom, followed by a buzzing in their heads and ears. Su Yi instinctively took his hands off his ears and hugged Mu Jin.
Once everything had calmed down, Mu Jin slowly raised her head. Overjoyed, she broke free from Su Yi's embrace and ran out from behind the boulder, with Su Yi and Mu Yan close behind.
The three looked towards the cliff, but there was no longer any boulder there; even half of the cliff had been blasted beyond recognition by gunpowder.
