Chapter 118 Unworthy Descendants

In the early morning, sunlight streamed in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the mountain air was exceptionally fresh and invigorating.

In the living room, an elderly person and a young child were already having breakfast.

Jing Weiyang rarely got up before Shen Yu. She claimed that she was having breakfast with her grandfather, but in reality, she was determined to cling to the old man's powerful backer and live one day at a time!

She was naturally beautiful, and even without makeup, her long, curly hair tied in a high ponytail exuded an indescribable charm. Moreover, her well-behaved and innocent appearance was very endearing to older people.

When Shen Yu came downstairs, he heard her coaxing the old man in that sweet, pleading voice:

"Grandpa, you're not old at all! You're even more energetic than us!"

"Following you, I'll get to eat meat, and I want to learn more, so you can't send me away!"

Jing Weiyang showered the old man with compliments, making him beam with joy. He told her that he would be happy to stay not only for a few more days, but also to stay indefinitely. She thought to herself that this time she was all set.

Just as she was feeling smug, she suddenly looked up and saw a neatly dressed man standing next to her. Her heart skipped a beat, and she quickly lowered her head and pretended to eat seriously.

We mustn't let him discover our intentions, or we're doomed.

Shen Yu glanced at the woman who had acted like a quail after seeing him before sitting down with composure and speaking as if casually:

"What are you two talking about, you seem so happy?"

Upon hearing this, the old man's face hardened, and he feigned anger, saying, "What did you say? Your wife said she wanted to spend more time with this old man and show more concern for me. Unlike you, you unfilial grandson!"

"Unfilial descendant," President Shen frowned, giving someone a meaningful look: "Really? You care about your grandfather so much?"

Jing Weiyang stiffened, her eyes darting away, unable to look at him, but she still finished speaking:

"We, as the younger generation, should spend more time with our elders. It must be so lonely for Grandpa to live alone in such a big house!"

The old man's smile became even more benevolent as he looked at Jing Weiyang:

"That's right, my granddaughter-in-law is so sensible. The old man must be so lonely all by himself. She truly is a good daughter-in-law of the Shen family!"

"Grandpa, no one else is as good as you say. You are the kindest elder I have ever met."

Shen Yu listened expressionlessly to the two exchanging pleasantries, and only spoke slowly and deliberately after they finished:

"But we've been here for several days already, it's time to go home."

Then one sentence stirred up a hornet's nest.

"You brat, always going against the old man!" Grandpa glared at him. "Would it cost you anything to spend more time with your grandpa? You're not as sensible as your wife!"

When Jing Weiyang heard Shen Yu mention going back, her heart pounded. Forget about being timid now, and she fawned over her grandfather, speaking in a very obsequious manner:

"That's right, that's right, we should spend more time with Grandpa..."

Her eyes began to wander, and her words trailed off with a lack of confidence.

In the interplay of light and shadow, the man's white shirt collar was slightly open, revealing a section of his fair and delicate collarbone, exuding a cool and alluring sensuality.

Jing Weiyang couldn't help but swallow, and realizing that her breathing was off, she quickly looked away, but her face turned red.

Angel Yang: Waaaaah, this is so embarrassing! It's not like we've never slept together before, why are you being so infatuated!

Devil Yang: But he's so handsome! Even though I've already slept with him, I still want to sleep with him again. Drooling~~

Noticing her absent-mindedness, Shen Yu glanced down and instantly understood.

He didn't expose her, but calmly stirred his coffee and slowly began to speak:

"But I think there's a better way to make you feel less lonely."

"What method?" the old man asked him suspiciously.

Jing Weiyang also looked over curiously.
