Mu Youran had mixed feelings.
I feel it's wrong of me to come and question Ying Yao based on just a few hearsay.
What if there's no such thing at all?
Huang Yu held her shoulders tightly, trying to give her some strength.
"I'll go."
As she spoke, she was about to go inside, but Mu Youran grabbed her arm, and she struggled internally.
However, she didn't want Huang Yu to get involved in her relationship with Ying Yao.
"No, I'll go!"
Mu Youran took a deep breath. Whether this matter was true or false, she had to face it.
She didn't want any misunderstandings to arise between her and her partner, and besides, she believed that Ying Yao wouldn't betray her.
She walked to the slightly ajar doorway. It was very quiet inside, without a sound, but she knew Ying Yao was inside.
However, when she opened the door, she saw a strange female sitting in the chair next to her, doing needlework.
Ying Yao was sitting at the table next to her, writing something. The scene was so beautiful, yet it pierced her heart deeply!
Hearing the noise, Ying Yao looked up and saw You Ran standing at the door, and instantly a smile appeared on his face.
What brings you here?
The unfamiliar female next to her looked startled and panicked, quickly hiding what she was holding behind her back!
"lady."
The low voice alone is enough to evoke a protective instinct in males.
Mu Youran slammed the door shut behind her; she didn't want Wen E and Huang Yu to see this.
She didn't want them to worry about her; she wanted to handle her own affairs.
He looked the unfamiliar female up and down. She was wearing a green silk short skirt, and her long, delicate, fair legs were fully exposed. There was a deep cleavage in her chest. It was obvious that this female had a very good figure.
"You're Ah Ling?"
Ah Ling's eyes darted away slightly, and she approached Ying Yao with great fear: "Mm."
Seeing her cold expression, Ying Yao knew she was unhappy and stepped forward to put his arm around You Ran's shoulder, asking softly, "What's wrong?"
Before the situation was clear, Mu Youran didn't want Ying Yao to touch her, so she subtly moved his hand away and sat down in the spot where Ying Yao had just been.
Suppress your anger and displeasure, and try your best to maintain your composure.
His cold expression shot towards the seemingly innocent female: "Tell me, what are you doing here?"
Upon hearing the tone of her voice, Ying Yao knew she was somewhat unhappy, so he quickly smiled and sat down at the table.
"I asked her to come in and make clothes because it's too hot outside."
Mu Youran turned her head and met his smiling eyes directly: "Did I ask you?"
Ah Ling quickly stepped forward, her face full of grievance, biting her lower lip tightly: "Madam Chief, it's Ah Ling's fault."
"Don't blame the clan leader. If you're angry, you can hit me or scold me, just don't hold a grudge against the clan leader!"
Mu Youran found these sarcastic remarks annoying, but she tried her best to suppress her temper.
Taking a deep breath: "So, you took it upon yourself to come to this house?"
Ying Yao sighed inwardly. He felt that You Ran had changed and become somewhat sharp-tongued.
"I told you, I sent her!"
Upon hearing this again, Mu Youran could no longer contain her anger. She grabbed a piece of jade next to her and smashed it hard against Ying Yao, then abruptly sat up from her chair.
A hysterical scream: "Did I talk to you?"
"You keep speaking up for her, what does that mean? Do you like her? Do you really want to be her partner?"
She wasn't really convinced at first, thinking that once she came back, she would believe Ying Yao if he said everything was alright.
However, she had only returned home early today when she was caught with the two of them inside the room with the door closed.
She's still on the island now, but what about when she was far away in Beast King City?
No wonder A-Guang from the Beast Tribe was so bold as to directly pick a fight with me, Huang Yu, and Wen E.
No wonder those orcs avoided them; now you know the reason!
Ying Yao was hit hard by a stone, and his already exposed chest was instantly bruised.
Feeling distressed, Ah Ling rushed over and tried to pry open Ying Yao's hands to check on him.
"Chieftain, are you alright? Ah Ling, please take a look."
Yingyao gently pushed A-Ling away, not wanting to have too much contact with her, but the stone hurt so much that he couldn't push her away immediately. Finally, he turned his body to the side to avoid her hand.
He couldn't understand why You Ran would suddenly get so angry. He had only let A Ling escape the summer heat in his office, so how did it become a matter of liking her and talking about such a nonsensical thing as getting married?
This relaxed demeanor, so different from his usual self, made him feel somewhat unfamiliar.
With a furrowed brow, he said, "What are you throwing a tantrum about? When did I ever say I liked someone else?"
Ah Ling quickly chimed in, "Madam Chief, I really have nothing between me and the Chief. Please don't hurt him, it will make me sad."
Mu Youran sneered, not wanting to argue with them about this at all.
Ha, there's nothing there.
She only trusts what she sees now!
"Then I'd like to ask, what about the green silk dress I gave you before?"
Ying Yao's eyes darted away slightly; he didn't want You Ran to know about his previous injury and worry about him.
He simply said, "That skirt is torn."
Mu Youran smiled sarcastically: "So you gave it to this female, right?"
At this moment, she felt like a clown, showing such concern for Ying Yao in front of these two people, losing her usual composure.
