Han Bin was discussing battle plans with several of his regimental commanders when there was a knock at the door. Han Bin called out, "Come in."
A young soldier pushed open the door and came in: "Commander Han, you have a phone call."
"Okay." Han Bin stood up from his chair. "You guys work on it first, I'm going to take this call."
Han Bin picked up the phone and said, "Hello, this is Han Bin," when the police officer on the other end rattled off a whole bunch of things.
Han Bin was overjoyed after hearing this: "My wife is right next to you?"
"Um."
"Could you please let my spouse answer the phone?"
The police officer, still uneasy, asked, "Comrade, did you understand what I just said?"
"I understand. My wife wants to adopt two old swindlers. Please let my wife take the call."
"So...do you agree?"
"Agreed. Could you please let my spouse answer the phone?"
The policeman paused for a moment: "Would you like to think about it again?"
