Chapter 441 Turning the Tables: Who is the Human Trafficker?

The older sister had originally wanted to see if Tengteng and her younger brother could take good care of Chou Chou. Instead, she saw Chou Chou walking alone with a woman in her fifties to a very secluded place. The woman was talking to Chou Chou as they walked, appearing both kind and gentle.

The older sister sensed something was wrong and looked into the woman's heart. Upon seeing it clearly, her heart sank.

Just as the older sister was about to get up from the rocking chair to go back to her room to get her phone to call Tengteng and her younger brother, she saw the woman look around. Finding no one nearby, she pulled out a handkerchief and tried to cover Ugly's nose. In her panic, the older sister fell off the rocking chair.

The older sister, not bothering to get up, looked at God in her fallen position and said, "God, if you really treat me like your own daughter, just as my mother and father guessed, then make that woman put that handkerchief on her own face."

The clouds in the sky formed a smiling face.

My sister felt a little relieved after seeing this.

Then, the older sister looked at Chou Chou again.

After seeing clearly, the older sister stood up angrily and said, "I'm never lending you my son again!" Then she lay back down in the rocking chair. "Phew...that scared me to death."

The wolf walked over to his sister and nuzzled her arm.

The older sister stroked the wolf's fur and said, "I'm fine."

When the little wolf saw his sister stroking the old wolf's fur, he stuck his head under her hand.

The older sister pinched the little wolf's ear. "Push me in the rocking chair a little longer, I need to rest."

Upon hearing this, the old wolf and the little wolf started pushing the rocking chair for their sister again.

My sister closed her eyes.

A moment later, my sister opened her eyes again. She looked up at the sky and said, "I was so nervous just now that I forgot to thank you. Don't mind."

The clouds in the sky have once again formed a big smiling face.

My sister smiled too.

Soon, my sister fell asleep.

In the park, just as the woman in her fifties placed the handkerchief on Chou Chou's nose, the younger brother came out and picked Chou Chou up from the ground. Once Chou Chou was safe, the younger brother looked at the woman and said, "What were you trying to do just now?"

As soon as her younger brother came over, the woman quickly stuffed her handkerchief into her pocket. "I saw there was some dirt on the child's nose, and I wanted to wipe it off for him."

The younger brother looked at the ugly nose. "Where's the dirt on my nephew's nose?"

The woman was an expert. She remained completely unfazed after her brother exposed her. "Maybe I misjudged," she said.

"Really?" The younger brother looked around. "Why did you bring my nephew here? This place is so remote."

“Your nephew asked me to bring him here.”

Ugly hugged her younger brother's neck. "I didn't."

The younger brother rubbed his ugly head. "I know."

The woman smiled and looked at Chou Chou, saying, "Little one, are you afraid your uncle will scold you? Little one, let me tell you, children shouldn't do that."

Ugly scratched his head. "Uncle, what is she saying? I don't understand."

The younger brother smiled. "She's trying to mislead you."

Ugly: "What is misleading?"

Brother: "Hmm... misleading is making you think that what she said is right."

Ugly blinked. "Is what she said right?"

Younger brother: "No, that's not right."

Ugly: "Oh."

The woman wanted to sneak away while her younger brother was talking to Ugly.

Unfortunately, her younger brother had already noticed her little tricks.

She had only taken two steps to the side when her younger brother blocked her way. "Where do you think you're going?"

The woman immediately adopted the demeanor of a virtuous wife and loving mother: "I have to go to the market to buy groceries."

The younger brother smiled. "You want to leave before things are even cleared up?"

The woman pretended to be confused, saying, "Young man, what didn't you explain clearly? You've confused me."

The younger brother looked at the woman and said, "You're not confused. Tell me, where do you plan to take my nephew?"

The woman frowned as she looked at her younger brother. "You silly child, I watched your nephew for a while because I saw him running around alone. You told me I was trying to kidnap him. Young man, you can't do that."

The younger brother circled the woman. "You're quite the smooth talker. You promised to babysit my child, but why didn't you even tell me before taking my nephew away?"

“I didn’t take your nephew away. I was just worried he’d get lost, so I looked after him for a while,” the woman said, looking at her brother. “No wonder people are afraid to do good deeds these days. I did a good deed and you still suspect me. Really.”

The younger brother pointed to the woman's pocket: "Do you dare to take out your handkerchief?"

The woman narrowed her eyes. "What's there to be afraid of? Let me tell you, don't wrong an innocent person."

The younger brother held out his hand. "Whether someone is a good person or not, just take the handkerchief out of your pocket and we'll know."

The woman snorted and pulled a handkerchief from her pocket. "Here. I'll never be so kind again. Humph!"

The younger brother withdrew his hand.

The woman paused for a moment. "Now you believe I'm a good person, right?"

The younger brother smiled. "If you dare to put this handkerchief to your nose, I'll believe you're a good person."

"You! Humph! Fine, I'll cover it then." With that, the woman covered her nose with a handkerchief.

After more than ten minutes, the woman removed the handkerchief from her nose and looked at her younger brother, saying, "What do you have to say now?"

The younger brother looked very surprised. "You're really not a human trafficker?"

The woman shouted, "You're the human trafficker!"

Although they were standing in a secluded spot, it was still within a park. The woman then deliberately shouted that her brother was a human trafficker. Soon, several people gathered around.

The woman looked around at the people and said, "He didn't take care of the child properly. The child walked all the way here by himself and he didn't even notice. I was afraid the child would get lost, so I watched over him for a while. And then he accused me of being a child trafficker. Tell me, am I being wronged?"

A woman who had been watching the commotion immediately said, "Young man, how can you wrong an innocent person?"

Another man chimed in, “That’s right. Young man, if it weren’t for someone watching over him, your son might have been lost long ago.”

The first woman to speak added, "This man is so careless when it comes to looking after children."

"That's right. My husband almost lost my grandson once too."

...

After about ten minutes, the woman looked at her younger brother and said, "Shouldn't you apologize to me?"

Younger brother: "You're really not a human trafficker?"

"You!" The woman's face flushed with anger. "Look at him. He still thinks I'm a human trafficker. Tell me, do I look like a human trafficker?"

A: "It doesn't look like it."

B: "He seems more like it to me. Child, is he your uncle?"

Chou Chou nodded: "He is my uncle."

Seeing that everyone believed her, the woman looked at her younger brother and said, "If you think I'm a human trafficker, then call the police."

A: "Young man, he's definitely not a human trafficker. Would a human trafficker dare to let you call the police?"

B: "Exactly. Young man, you should apologize to him."

C: "Yes. Apologize. If you don't apologize, we won't let you leave."
