Chapter 204 The Little Turtle is Delighted

Without hesitation, my sister agreed: "Okay."

Xiaoman paused for a moment. At noon today, they passed a river, and Xiaoman suggested that everyone stop to rest and have lunch.

As soon as Xiaoman said it was time to rest, the older sister started looking for a place to sit. A little while later, she was seated. Everyone was used to it and didn't find it strange.

But when they left, her sister picked up the rock she had been sitting on.

Xiaoman wondered what was wrong with her lazy girl today. Usually, she would avoid moving anything if possible, but today she was actually moving stones. Xiaoman told her sister she was leaving and put the stone down. But her sister told her she was taking the stone with her.

Because her older sister could see things that others couldn't, Xiaoman asked Lao Shang to take a look at the stone to see if it was different from other stones. After looking at it, Lao Shang thought it was just an ordinary stone.

Xiaoman didn't want to carry a stone on the road, so she asked her older sister to carry it herself, and her sister actually agreed. And she agreed so readily.

Nao Nao: "Little sister, the stone is very heavy."

Sister: "It's not heavy."

Tengteng: "Mom told you to carry it yourself, so your brothers can't help you."

Sister: "I know."

Zuo Zuo: "Little sister, these kinds of stones are everywhere. Look, that one over there is just like the one you have."

Sister: "It's different."

Youyou: "How is it different?"

Sister: "It's different everywhere."

The younger brother looked at the stone in his sister's hand, and then at the stone Zuo Zuo had mentioned: "Sister, the one you have is bigger than that one, so you carry that one."

Sister: "That spot isn't good. (Net)"

Old Shang: "Girl, it will take us many more days to get to your father."

Sister: "I know. My grandma said we'll be on the road for many, many, many days."

Old Guo: "Girl, you can't eat or drink from stones, so carrying them is useless."

Sister: "It works."

Everyone tried to persuade her, but the older sister still couldn't bear to put down the stone in her hand.

Xiaoman looked up at the sky. Damn it! Tell your daughter to put the stone down!

Heaven was quiet.

The older sister, carrying a stone, walked up to Xiaoman and said, "Mom, I want a basket."

Xiaoman glanced at her sister: "Carrying stones?"

"Um."

"No need for a basket. Come on, let me tie it to your back with a rope."

"Okay. Here you go." The older sister gave the stone to Xiaoman.

Xiaoman figured that given her sister's personality, she'd only carry it for a short while before giving up. After her sister gave Xiaoman the stone, Xiaoman took a rope and tied the stone to her sister's back: "Okay, let's go."

"Thank you, Mother."

"Um."

Xiaoman wanted her older sister to throw the stone away quickly so everyone could leave.

That rock was bigger than my sister's back. With the rock on her back, she looked like a little turtle.

Old Shang glanced at Xiaoman. Meaning: You're really making the child carry it?

Xiaoman rubbed her forehead. "I won't be able to carry it for long."

Nao Nao and Tengteng were afraid that the rock would crush their older sister, so they pulled her from both sides.

Zuo Zuo and You You followed behind them with their younger brother.

Brother: "Sister, you're so strong!"

The older sister turned to look at her younger brother and said, "This stone isn't heavy."

Everyone was waiting for the older sister to complain of being tired. But after walking for more than twenty minutes, she still didn't say she was tired. Although Xiaoman always complained that her older sister was lazy, she couldn't really exhaust her daughter: "Alright, everyone get in the car. Sister, put the stone in the car."

"Okay." When Xiaoman tied the stone to her sister, she left two loops so that her sister could put her arms through them and carry the stone on her back. As soon as Xiaoman said it was time to get on the bus, her sister carried the stone and climbed onto the bus.

After getting on the bus, my sister put the stone in the bus. After Lao Shang and Lao Guo got on, my sister patted the stone and said, "Grandpa Shang, Grandpa Guo, Mom, you can take turns sitting."

Two old mattresses were laid out on the car; with mattresses, Lao Shang and Lao Guo didn't want to sit on the stone.

Old Shang: "Grandpa Shang won't sit."

Old Guo: "Grandpa Guo isn't sitting either."

Xiaoman thought for a moment. Could it be that this rock is particularly comfortable to sit on? "Then Mother will sit for a while."

Sister: "Okay."

After sitting on it, Xiaoman felt it was the same as the other stones. After a while, Xiaoman stopped sitting on it.

Sister: "Mother, why aren't you sitting down?"

"Too hard."

The older sister blinked: "Meimei isn't hard at all."

Xiaoman looked at the ugly stone next to her sister: "You call it Meimei?"

"Um."

"What's so beautiful about it?"

"It's beautiful to sit on."

"You mean you felt really happy after sitting in it?"

"Um."

Xiaoman sat down for a while, but it still felt hard. "Mom won't sit here, you sit here."

"Alright then." The older sister then asked Nao Nao, Tengteng, Zuo Zuo, and You You to sit down. Out of curiosity, Nao Nao, Tengteng, Zuo Zuo, and You You all sat down for a few minutes. They all stopped sitting after a few minutes.

The older sister was puzzled: "Little brother, come on, let's sit together."

"good."

The older sister and younger brother are quite young, so they can all sit together. After they were seated, the older sister asked, "Is it comfortable?"

Brother: "I don't feel well. Sister, I'm not sitting here anymore."

The older sister looked at the others and asked, "Why doesn't any of you like Meimei?"

Xiaoman thought to herself: What's so great about an ordinary stone? "You sit here, we're not sitting."

"Alright then. Little brother, are you really not going to sit?" Being called "sister" every day, I'm starting to act like one now.

"Okay. Sister, please sit down. I'll sit on the mattress."

"All right."

After sitting down, my sister squinted her eyes and said, "So beautiful."

Xiaoman looked up at the sky: Damn you, your daughter is really silly.

Heaven was quiet.

Xiaoman looked down at her older sister, who was so beautiful she was almost asleep. Xiaoman tapped her sister's nose: "Don't sleep."

"hey-hey"

When they arrived in town, Xiaoman found a restaurant. After everyone got off, her sister picked up her stone again.

Xiaoman rubbed her forehead: "Put the stone down."

"Mom, Meimei is a treasure. We can't leave her outside, or she'll get lost."

Xiaoman really wanted to say: "Your stone is so black and hard, even if you give it to someone, they might not want it." She replied: "It won't get lost. Mom will have Xiao Hei watch it for you."

The older sister thought for a moment and said, "Okay then. I'll put it in the car."

"Um."

After putting the stone in the car, her older sister was still worried: "Meimei, you can't go with anyone else. You're the one who found out, Meimei."

Xiaoman picked up her sister and carried her into the restaurant.

Xiaoman wanted her older sister to throw away the stone. So, every time they went for a walk, Xiaoman made her sister carry the stone. But ten days passed, and her sister still couldn't bear to throw it away. Half a month passed, and her sister still couldn't bear to throw it away. Xiaoman couldn't help but wonder: Could this stone really be different from the other stones?

At noon, Xiaoman stopped at a rocky spot: "We'll have lunch here today. Naonao, Tengteng, take your brothers and help Grandpa Guo cook. Sister, come here."

Nao Nao and Tengteng: "Okay."

The older sister, carrying her stone, walked up to Xiaoman and asked, "Mother, do you want me to tell you a story?"

“No.” Xiaoman led her sister to the other side: “Give the stone to Mother.”

The older sister took a step back: "Mom, you're not thinking of throwing away my Meimei, are you? Mom, I haven't been lazy, I carry it myself every day."

"No. Here, give the stone to your mother, let her see how heavy it is."

"Not throwing it away?"

"I won't throw it away."

"Oh well."

The older sister gave Meimei to Xiaoman. After Xiaoman weighed it and determined its weight, she found a stone nearby that weighed the same as Meimei.

Xiaoman gave the stone she had found to her sister: "Come here, give me a hug."

After holding the stone for a while, the older sister put it down and said, "Mom, this stone is no good."

"What's wrong with it?"
