The zombie's name is Tian An. He was originally a loser who stayed at home all day and only knew how to play video games.
After the apocalypse arrived, he directly became a zombie. However, in the very second he transformed from a human into a zombie, he was bound to a system called the "Most Popular System." Both the zombie and the system were dumbfounded.
The zombie was dumbfounded. What could he do with a "charming woman" system? Find zombie wives one, two, three, four, five, six, seven?
The system was also dumbfounded, realizing it had bound the wrong person.
"So, you and your system haven't been officially bound yet?"
Zombie Tian An nodded with a pitiful expression, because he hadn't completed his first beginner mission. The system couldn't bind him through the mission, and it couldn't leave him either. So, the two of them were stuck in a stalemate.
Gu Zuozuo stroked her chin, listening with interest as the zombie stammered about its bloody history, a thoughtful look flashing in her eyes.
"Show me your chips, let me see your sincerity."
The zombie's lips curled slightly, and its crimson eyes held a light that others could not see.
"Okay...okay!"
As soon as he finished speaking, boxes of various class-specific ability cores, gold and silver jewelry, gold bricks and bars, and jade antiques appeared in the trading box.
Gu Zuozuo raised an eyebrow in surprise. As expected of a post-apocalyptic world, all the good stuff is indeed available for free.
What do you want to change to?
The zombie's mouth split open, and a trickle of saliva slid down from the corner of its mouth, which stretched to behind its ear.
"I want...raw meat...lots of raw meat!"
Gu Zuozuo laughed, her laughter swaying gracefully, exuding charm and allure.
"Okay, I don't have much of anything, except for a lot of raw meat."
As he spoke, he placed a fish in the trade box and, without giving the zombie on the other side a chance, immediately clicked "trade".
The next second, countless vines rose from the ground, completely enveloping the items in the trade, ensuring that not even a single hair could escape.
"System, check it, see what it's trying to do."
At the top of the roof, round, white beads continuously emitted a soft light, completely enveloping the entire room without revealing a single gap.
The system was also stunned by this sudden turn of events. The first thing that came to its mind was, did its host actually want to double-cross it? Was it too late to block the monitor above its head?
It only realized what was happening when it heard its host's voice.
[Host, is something wrong?]
Gu Zuozuo looked at the zombie on the other side of the screen, who was also stunned, and blew it a kiss in a good mood.
"Thank you for your generosity, dear. I received the items. If you like the fish, please remember to give me a five-star review!"
Zombie: ...?
system:……?
The system was still completely bewildered; what had happened to its host?
On the screen, the zombie looked up and let out a long, sharp, and piercing hiss.
"You tricked me! You filthy human! How could you trick me?"
Oh, you're not stuttering anymore?
Gu Zuozuo chuckled, crossed her arms, sat on the beanbag chair, and swayed back and forth as she watched it go crazy, raging in a helpless frenzy.
"How can you call it playing tricks on you? Didn't you start by misleading people?"
The zombie was panting heavily, and black veins on its neck began to climb up its hideous face.
How did you know what I was going to do?
Where did it slip up?
Gu Zuozuo took a tiny mouse, no bigger than a thumb, from the box and waved it in front of the screen, her tone mocking and sarcastic.
"Who do you think you're playing for?"
Indeed, those who are not of our kind are bound to have different hearts.
From the moment she successfully connected with the other party through the light screen and saw that the other side was a zombie, even though she had never experienced the apocalypse, she knew that something was wrong.
First, if the host fails to complete the task, the system won't reward points. Without a binding, where would the points come from? How can it successfully initiate interdimensional trade without points? Does it think she's stupid?
Secondly, as far as she knew, the thirst for human flesh and blood among zombies was almost instinctive. If it told you that it didn't eat people, there was only one possibility: it had a bigger scheme.
