Chapter Eleven, Malutun 2
"You know quite a lot."
Klas paused, his core, which had been burning with praise, instantly cooled down. He glanced guiltily at the green light above his head and secretly patted his mouth, which was faster than his brain. Really, why did he have to talk so much!
The tractor chugged along for two hours and finally arrived at the Hongqi Brigade at four o'clock in the afternoon.

Gu Zuozuo and the other two helped each other unload their luggage, and Li Mo helped deliver it to the donkey cart in Malutun.

Once Uncle Duan confirmed that everyone had arrived, he waved his short whip and drove the donkey cart toward Malutun.

Without further ado, the group slung their bags over their shoulders and followed the donkey cart toward the deep green landscape in the distance.
As he passed the oxcart of the Hongxing Brigade, he heard the commotion. Uncle Duan paused for a moment, then suddenly sped up, overtaking the oxcart of Hongxing without a word, and ran very fast.
Just as the Red Star captain was about to reach out to stop him, he saw his old buddy running so fast, and chuckled in exasperation. He was so afraid that the old buddy would switch places with him, even though he did want to switch places.
With the affected and pretentious "Brother Boyan" still echoing in his ears, Captain Red Star's face darkened. He had a feeling that he had taken a bomb with him.
Malutun is nestled between three mountains. The mountain road back from the county was rugged, and it took them nearly three hours to walk there.
Of the five educated youths, except for Gu Zuozuo, the other four looked dejected, their faces flushed from exhaustion, their hair damp with sweat, and they were panting heavily.
"Oh my god, I'm so tired, Zuo Zuo, I can't walk anymore..."
