Gu Zuozuo looked at her with a half-smile, making her hair stand on end and feel extremely uncomfortable.

"You dare say this has nothing to do with you?"
Cai Wenyue awkwardly touched her nose; she really was partly to blame for this.
"Okay, I was wrong too. I was just thinking that since you guys were kicked out, I could show up and give you warmth and win you over."
Who knew that this person would just leave, and stay away for a whole month, leaving her to squat in the corner of their dormitory every day cleaning up the mess. Cai Wenyue pursed her lips. "Go tell those two charlatans in the bureau. What's the point of telling her?"
Xie Jinyu's gaze fell on Gu Zuozuo, her smile deepened, and her tone softened considerably.
"Zuo Zuo, long time no see."
The phrase "the gentler the smile, the more ruthless the attack" flashed through Gu Zuozuo's mind, and she subconsciously took a step back to create distance.
"It's good that we didn't see each other; let's keep it that way in the future."
Xie Jinyu was taken aback for a moment. Looking at his fiancée, who kept him at arm's length, he felt somewhat helpless. Knowing that he was not well-liked, he did not continue to pester her. He had a mission to complete this time, and the mission came first.
"Who can tell me what happened?"
Gu Zuozuo and Cai Wenyue looked at each other and indicated that either was fine.
"Isn't he being sent to the countryside? He can wander around freely?"
Cai Wenyue pointed to her face.
“Someone will take his place.”
Gu Zuozuo understood and followed him towards the front yard.
Behind them, a dozen or so people in white coats, carrying boxes, squatted down and began working, accompanied by soldiers.
In the front yard, the human traffickers had been tied up and escorted to a special interrogation area, where Qi Meng and her group of abducted children were being questioned one by one.
