Chapter 169 (Journey to Another World)

Have you ever seen countless shrimp soldiers and crab generals?

Gu Zuozuo saw it.

They are very large and ferocious, some even being quite bizarre in shape.

Shrimp don't look like shrimp, crabs don't look like crabs, even shellfish have several legs and run very fast while carrying their shells, not to mention all kinds of fish, it's a real chaotic mess.

"Uh, have they been in a car accident?" This is like a car crash scene; even a botched plastic surgery wouldn't be this ugly.

No one answered her question. The surging mutated aquatic creatures were so excited that they were drooling as they ran, staring intently at Gu Zuozuo with sticky and disgusting eyes.

"Go ahead, kill them!"

Patting the branches of the small vines, Gu Zuozuo's eyes gradually filled with excitement, and even her fair face began to flush.

The moment the two sides clashed, Gu Zuozuo, alone with her vine, unleashed her ultimate skill and engaged the mutated marine animal in a fierce battle that was so intense it darkened the sky and dimmed the sun and moon!

Gu Zuozuo noticed that these things didn't seem to be very intelligent. Coveting her was almost instinctive for them. Their first reaction upon getting close to her was to bite her. Moreover, the closer they got to her, the more frantic their behavior became.

After chopping another lobster, which was even taller than her, into several pieces, Gu Zuozuo took a few deep breaths, her eyes gleaming with a green light.

"happy!"

This was what real battlefield combat looked like. Gu Zuozuo's inherent warlike nature was fully activated. Wielding her sword with both hands, she charged into the mutated marine animal horde like a meat grinder. Limbs flew everywhere, and the squawking and howling terrified the survivors on the ground.

The vine split into two, then four, then eight. Influenced by Gu Zuozuo's fighting spirit, it entered a berserk mode, tearing the octopus into pieces and then dashing into the mutated aquatic group at lightning speed, turning those monsters into a seafood stew.

The already one-sided scene instantly crumbled again. The ground was covered with a thick layer of shell fragments and flesh. The stench, along with the foul smell, made Gu Zuozuo fall backward, almost bringing tears to her eyes.

It really stinks! Thinking of this, Gu Zuozuo became even more ruthless, leaving a mess in his wake.

Faced with these two formidable enemies that they couldn't defeat, kill, or even eat, the marine animals' instincts prevailed, and they began to slowly retreat.

To everyone's surprise, they surged in like a tide, only to be chased back to their lair in a sorry state, too ashamed to show their faces.

Gu Zuozuo showed no pleasure. She wiped the blood and grime from her face with her fingers, looked at the mess on the ground, and felt refreshed, as if the pent-up anger in her heart had finally disappeared.

"Honey, we need to go find your sister. She's gotten herself into some trouble somewhere."

The vine swayed, and the countless branches that once filled the sky were reduced to a single one. It climbed directly onto Gu Zuozuo's slender waist, wrapped around her several times, and then rested its head on her shoulder, snuggling against her affectionately.

Gu Zuozuo's eyes crinkled as she touched the little guy's tucked-up barbs, her smile bright and cheerful.

When Gu Zuozuo found the little system, it was almost crashing. She picked up the kitten and shook it, and immediately heard the little system's aggrieved accusation.

[Waaaaah... Host, if you don't come soon, you'll lose me...]

Gu Zuozuo remained expressionless for a second, and even rolled her eyes.

"You're quite something, aren't you? You managed to lose yourself?"

"Meow..."

The kitten opened its clear, watery blue eyes and stared at Gu Zuozuo, who had picked it up. It opened its little paws and scratched, then opened its pink little mouth and let out a pitiful meow.

Gu Zuozuo raised an eyebrow, her gaze fixed on the kitten's large, glassy eyes.

"Klass?"

[Host! That's not me!]

Gu Zuozuo's face immediately lit up with a smile. She hugged the kitten in her arms, fed it a few drops of spiritual spring water, and gently wiped away the dirt from its body.

The system almost went into a standstill. Was its host being too obviously disgusted with it?

While Gu Zuozuo was holding the kitten in her arms, the little system directly entered its own system space and began to complain about its host's inhuman behavior.
