Chapter 157 Chen Ji stole the whole group's flowers

These two are acting really awkwardly; they went on stage to present flowers, as if they were being coerced.

Xu Ruantang didn't know that what was being coerced was clearly robbery.

Chen Ji snatched all the flowers from the entire group.

Amidst everyone's astonished gazes, he calmly walked onto the stage, a sight no one had ever seen before, comparable to witnessing the Grand Canyon of Africa.

But everyone did so willingly, allowing him to take their things.

After stepping off the stage, Ye Lan pulled Xu Ruantang aside and asked, "Are you tired? Come and have some water."

Xu Ruantang downed her drink in one gulp, and only after putting down her cup did she realize that her grandmother, godmother, and even Tang Wan and Chen Zheng had come.

"Grandma, godmother, aren't you home?"

The old lady smiled kindly, "My dear granddaughter-in-law is going to perform on stage, how could Grandma not come? Grandma came before you went on stage, just to applaud you!"

"Sister-in-law, aren't you feeling unwell? Why are you here? Please have a seat."

Tang Wan and Chen Zheng stood together, both with sincere smiles on their faces. "We heard your performance was the last one, so we came to watch and cheer you on. Ruan Tang, you're amazing, we're all so proud of you."

Xu Ruantang almost burst into tears again, having just managed to hold them back.

As soon as Li Shuhe stepped off the stage, she was surrounded by her father and the others.

The pride on Li's father's face was evident. He patted Li Shuhe on the shoulder and said earnestly, "You've grown up! You've really grown up!"

Mother Li wiped away her tears, "Shuhe, when did you learn to write manuscripts? And this piece of music, when was it composed?"

Remembering Xu Ruantang's words, Li Shuhe replied directly, "Dad, Mom, this piece was composed by our predecessors, not us. We can't say things like that."

"Which senior was so talented?" Mr. Li asked casually, not intending to delve into the details. "You wrote that manuscript, didn't you? You're such a good daughter! You've really made something of yourself!"
