Chapter 215: Swinging between begging for mercy to escape and utterly courting death.

Chen Ji was wearing such a long shirt that it almost covered his buttocks!

Xu Ruantang stomped her foot. "Why don't you just take off your shirt and give it to me? I'll find a hanger and paint on it."

Chen Ji's thin lips were pressed tightly together. Even though Xu Ruantang was so angry, he still held the hem of his shirt with both hands. Upon hearing this, his slender fingers curled slightly.

Xu Ruantang was about to jump up and down. She lifted her eyelids and glanced at Chen Ji, then snorted, "What a cold and aloof male god, it's all a lie! What haven't I seen in you? Why are you shy now?"

Even before they were officially in a relationship, he would walk around in front of her wearing shorts and shirtless.

It wasn't nearly as hot back then as it is now!

She was genuinely sketching from life; she had no ulterior motives whatsoever!

Why are you so wary of her?

When he's feeling positive, he's more positive than anyone else!

Chen Ji closed his eyes briefly, his deep pupils fixed on Xu Ruantang, and after a moment of contemplation, he turned and went into the bathroom.

The door closed in front of Xu Ruantang.

She jumped up and down twice, still wanting to continue criticizing Chen Ji, when suddenly her mind went blank.

One item?

So Chen Ji was only wearing a shirt just now?

If you let him sit on a stool, it wouldn't be a problem for her to draw like that!

Xu Ruantang was filled with remorse.

Unfortunately, Chen Ji didn't give her a chance to regret it; he had already changed his clothes and come out.

Under the dim yellow light, his bare upper body looked like an exquisite sculpture.

His skin had a healthy honey color, and his muscles were even and full, extending from his chest to his lower abdomen.

Broad shoulders, narrow waist, and clearly defined V-line and abs.

With a few drops of water still clinging to her body, the visual impact was striking.

Xu Ruantang pursed her lips, about to continue reading, when a large hand covered her eyes.

"Are you still going to paint?" Chen Ji's voice was slightly hoarse, as if he was suppressing something.

Xu Ruantang nodded vigorously, "Of course."

Chen Ji didn't let go. "Should I stand or sit?"

“Sit on that stool.” Xu Ruantang, blindfolded, pointed randomly.

The large hand quickly moved away.

Chen Ji took a long stride and walked towards the stool not far from the easel.

Xu Ruantang took the opportunity to glance at him a few more times, a sneaky smile playing on her lips.

Even from the back, those long legs looked firm and powerful, with extremely strong lines.

He was clearly a little uncomfortable; if he had to describe it, it would be the awkwardness of someone with social anxiety standing in front of the camera.

But he has always been reserved, and it was only because Xu Ruantang knew him well enough that she could see his helplessness.

Xu Ruantang stopped teasing him and sat down behind the easel.

To prevent himself from laughing out loud, Chen Ji stormed off in embarrassment, while Xu Ruantang bit her lip and started looking for a pencil.

Those who truly love painting know that once you sit in front of the easel, all you see are the bones and muscles of the figures, the form of the human body, and the composition of the artwork; there's no room for anything else.

But no matter how she looked at it, she felt uncomfortable.

Because Chen Ji in front of me was completely tense and couldn't relax at all.

Xu Ruantang thought for a moment, then stood up and looked around the room, but couldn't find anything suitable.

Chen Ji's eyes were cold, and he spoke in a deep voice: "Wife, you only have two hours. When the time is up, I'm going to sleep."

As Xu Ruantang rummaged through the room, she casually replied, "Don't worry, two hours will be more than enough."

She was completely unaware that Chen Ji's gaze, fixed on her from behind, seemed to devour her whole.

Xu Ruantang stood at the door of the main room, her eyes lit up when she saw her washed dress, and she quickly walked over to take it down.

Chen Ji looked at her with a puzzled expression, and the next second his breathing became erratic.

Xu Ruantang pulled his hands behind his back and wrapped them around her skirt. She also used the waist rope that came with the skirt as a rope.

Unaware of her own flirtation, she continued, "You're too stiff; it won't look good when drawn like that. I'll tie you up, and you can lean back in the chair. Tell me if you're uncomfortable."

After speaking, Xu Ruantang tugged at the knot to make sure it was secure before sitting down in front of the easel.

Chen Ji's face didn't just turn slightly red; it turned completely flushed.

Xu Ruantang paused for a moment, then stood up and turned on the fan, muttering, "What a hassle."

The old men they used to draw didn't have as many problems as Chen Ji.

However, the old man was just practicing his writing, and he didn't have a physique as perfect as Chen Ji's, which allowed him to fully display his skills.

Xu Ruantang was focused on painting, and the room was so quiet that apart from the sound of the fan, the faint sound of the brush, and Chen Ji's slightly heavy breathing, there was only the sound of the brush.

It took a long time for me to calm down.

The culprit was completely oblivious, so engrossed in their own world that they couldn't break free.

Xu Ruantang wasn't entirely heartless; she still knew to feed Chen Ji some water every now and then.

But when she was feeding him water, her gaze lingered on Chen Ji, and she even touched the darker, less expressive parts of his muscles.

This water left Chen Ji feeling neither satisfied nor unsatisfied.

The wall clock had completed one and a half rotations when Xu Ruantang finally stood up, rubbed her lower back, and shook her arms.

After stretching her body, she looked at Chen Ji with a smile and asked, "Are you thirsty? Do you want some water?"

Chen Ji raised an eyebrow and nodded with a half-smile, "Yes, the rope can be untied now."

Xu Ruantang walked over and held the water to his lips. Watching Chen Ji swallow little by little, his Adam's apple bobbing up and down, she couldn't help but reach out and press it.

"Honey, it's not time yet. We agreed on two hours."

While feeding her water, Xu Ruantang glanced around casually and suddenly realized that she was flirting with death.

My intention was simply to draw, but it seems I inadvertently touched a nerve with someone.

Her mind raced, her thoughts oscillating between begging for mercy to escape and utterly courting death.

When she reached out and pressed her hand against Chen Ji's Adam's apple, she finally realized that things seemed beyond repair.

Chen Ji's expression changed; his eyes darkened, and his face suddenly turned grim.

Xu Ruantang instinctively wanted to back away, but the little voice in her head was shouting: Who's afraid of who? If you're going to court death, then so be it.

Her actions outpaced her brain; she quickly lowered her head and gently pecked Chen Ji's thin lips.

Then he warned timidly, "We agreed on two hours. You can't go back on your word, or I won't listen to anything you say anymore."

Chen Ji took a deep breath, his eyes holding a profound meaning that Xu Ruantang couldn't understand. "Okay, no cheating. You have twenty minutes left."

"That's enough."

Xu Ruantang's mind was in a daze, but in a flash, she came up with a brilliant idea to save herself.

Her gaze fell on Chen Ji's handsome face with its sharp features, then quickly moved down, and down again.

Perhaps it was her lewd gaze that made Chen Ji frown. "What are you doing?"

Xu Ruantang pursed her lips and remained silent, walking step by step toward Chen Ji, then slowly bending down.
