Chapter 326 The Yandere is Untouchable

His shoulders were slumped, and his back looked inexplicably lonely.

Xu Ruantang softened instantly, "Fine, come up with me."

Huan Molin turned around without hesitation, his smile radiant.

"but..."

Before Xu Ruantang could finish speaking, Huan Molin interrupted, "I know, I know. I'll just stay to the side, not say anything, not make a sound, and not bother you."

Huan Molin raised his hand, "I swear!"

Chen Ji is a cunning old fox.

Huan Molin can definitely be described as a little fox who is not yet fully grown, but is exceptionally cunning.

Chen Ji was washing dishes in the kitchen, while Xiao Bao was drinking milk while hugging his leg.

Xu Ruantang greeted him before leading Huan Molin upstairs.

After eating his fill, Xiao Bao took a nap.

"Honey, can you put the baby to sleep later?"

Xu Ruantang said casually.

Chen Ji's hand holding the bowl trembled, and he almost dropped it.

His expression remained unchanged, and he replied in a deep voice, "Yes, okay."

Xu Ruantang turned and walked upstairs.

Huan Molin followed her closely, and halfway there, he suddenly said, "Uncle's ears are red."

Xu Ruantang asked, puzzled, "Hmm?"

Confused, she turned to look at Huan Molin.

Huan Molin shrugged. "Never mind."

The two entered the study, and Xu Ruantang pointed to the books inside, saying, "You can look at any of these books, but don't touch the ones over there, you won't understand them even if you do."

She went to a corner, sat down in front of the easel, and continued to work on the theme she had only half-thought out yesterday.

Huan Molin really meant it – he didn't bother her if he said he wouldn't.

It was so quiet that not a sound was made.

Once Xu Ruantang starts painting, she automatically shuts out all external distractions.

After a night of contemplation, at least I have some thoughts to share today, unlike yesterday when my mind was completely blank.

When she put down her paintbrush and went to her desk to get some water, she saw something that surprised her.

Huan Molin tilted his head, holding a pencil in his hand, with a sheet of drawing paper on the table.

"You drew this?"

Xu Ruantang's tone even changed slightly.

It was surprise.

It was a pleasant surprise.

A portrait is prominently displayed on the drawing paper.

Huan Molin looked up upon hearing this, and suddenly smiled shyly, "Um, does my drawing of my sister look like her?"

Xu Ruantang picked it up and looked at it.

"Have you studied this?"

She didn't remember, and Huan Yuanliang hadn't mentioned it either.

He only said that Huan Molin was only enthusiastic about everything for a short time, and besides going to school, he hired a Chinese tutor for him.

Huan Yuanliang had previously wanted Huan Molin to learn piano, but the boy knew absolutely nothing about it.

"No."

Huan Molin propped his head up with one hand and said casually, "My dad will never agree to me learning to draw. Sister, I just drew this casually, so you have to keep it a secret for me."

"Why?"

Xu Ruantang frowned. The fact that Huan Yuanliang was willing to seek her out proved that he would never look down on those who studied art.

Huan Molin said in a light tone, "Because my mother studied painting, and my father thought that stuff was useless."

He looked at Xu Ruantang and smiled, but the smile didn't reach his eyes.

“I was young then, and my family lived abroad. I remember my dad and mom always arguing. When they argued really badly, they smashed all sorts of things in the house.”

“Once, when there was nothing to throw, my mom picked me up and threw me at my dad.”

"Sister, I'm too young, I can't do anything, all I do is cry."

"And then, there was no more later."

Xu Ruantang thought Huan Molin was referring to their divorce.

I didn't know how to comfort him for a moment.

She pursed her lips. "Do you like drawing?"

Huan Molin blinked. "You like it?"

He chuckled softly.

A teenager, yet his smile conveyed a multitude of complex emotions.

"Sister, what does 'like' mean?"

Xu Ruantang was speechless.

This is definitely a yandere, no doubt about it.

"To like something is to want to do it."

Xu Ruantang didn't know what to say to him.

It would be a real waste to leave such a great talent for painting untapped and not cultivate it further.

Huan Molin thought for a moment, "Then I should like it, just like I like my sister."

"ah!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Xu Ruantang flicked him on the forehead without any hesitation.

"Do you skip school and spend all your time secretly reading comic books?"

Xu Ruantang asked him, "Or are children abroad just naturally precocious?"

Huan Molin covered his head. "How did you know? I hid my comic books very well. Even my dad didn't know about them."

Xu Ruantang: "......"

"Alright, don't worry about it. I'll talk to your dad when he gets back."

Xu Ruantang immediately became serious again, "You love painting so much, you should study hard when the time comes, maybe you can become an artist in the future."

Huan Molin's eyes flickered slightly. "Being an artist can't put food on the table. I want to be a businessman and make money, just like my father."

Xu Ruantang smiled and said, "Little brat, artists can make a lot of money too. A painting can cost a fortune, or even be priceless!"

The whole country is full of businessmen, but artists are one in ten thousand!

Huan Molin was infected by the sparkle in Xu Ruantang's eyes, "Then I'll be that one!"

"Sister, will you like me when the time comes?"

Xu Ruantang sighed heavily, looking defeated.

“Everyone likes you, your dad likes you a lot, including your Uncle Chen and your Aunt Wang.”

This kid is too persistent, so Xu Ruantang simply walked out of the study.
