Cheng Dan was still wearing a white coat and holding a few sheets of paper in her hand.
She walked a few steps to Chen Ji's side and stopped, saying something. Chen Ji looked at her.
The two stood in the hospital corridor. Although Chen Ji looked indifferent, Cheng Dan was still smiling happily.
Xu Ruantang paused, then immediately turned a corner.
She bumped into two men head-on, but luckily she braked quickly, or she would have crashed into their arms.
"I'm sorry." Xu Ruantang apologized without looking up, and then planned to walk around her.

Xu Ruantang felt confused, but when she looked over, she realized the person looked familiar. "You are... Li Shuyang?"
Li Shuyang's face fell when he heard this. She almost didn't recognize him after they had met twice.
He was about to speak when he was slapped on the back of the head. "You brat, this is your third sister-in-law, accompanying your third brother to the hospital for a check-up."
Xu Hanli didn't know they had met before, but he felt that Li Shuyang was speaking rather casually.
Li Shuyang was dealt another blow and could only quickly change the subject. He glanced behind Xu Ruantang but didn't see Chen Ji.
"Where is Third Brother?"
Xu Hanli was also curious. Chen Ji had specifically asked him to ride a bicycle over, but where were his own people?
People come and go in the hospital, and the corridors are already narrow. When they stand and talk, it really affects other people's passage.
Xu Ruantang stepped aside and casually pointed, "Look, over there."

Hearing the voice, Xu Ruantang looked up in surprise, "Your sister studies painting?"
She had wanted to ask last time, and from what Jia Shuling said, Li Shuhe was now playing the piano in the cultural troupe.
It would be a real shame to give up painting if it were her original major. After all, she wanted to continue learning it, but she didn't have the opportunity yet.

"We won't eat here. My husband and I will hold a banquet, and you can all come then."
Chen Ji smiled easily and said calmly.
Not to mention Xu Hanli and Li Shuyang were surprised, even Xu Ruantang herself looked up with some confusion.
Chen Ji showed no unusual expression; on the contrary, he seemed to be in a good mood, and he gently rubbed her hand a couple of times.
Xu Hanli was genuinely happy for Old Chen. He immediately patted Chen Ji on the shoulder and said loudly, "Old Chen, you're having a banquet? That's great! I can finally eat at your wedding! Dr. Cheng, let's all come together! Let's all get together!"
Before Chen Ji pulled her away, Xu Ruantang saw a flash of hatred in Cheng Dan's eyes, as if it were directed at her.
They walked out of the hospital hand in hand. Xu Ruantang couldn't break free, so she pursed her lips and said, "Chen Ji, you're a soldier, isn't this inappropriate?"
People these days aren't so open-minded; they'd probably keep their distance if they walked together.
Xu Ruantang increasingly felt that Chen Ji, who appeared cold and aloof, was actually quite cunning!
He's probably a rebellious person by nature! He'll do exactly what he's told not to do.
She shook off their clasped hands.
To be precise, her fist was trapped in Chen Ji's palm, and she couldn't move it at all.
"There's nothing wrong with it. Between husband and wife, it's just holding hands."
Chen Ji remained calm, as if he genuinely believed it wasn't a big deal. He turned to Xu Ruantang and asked, "Are you hungry?"
