Chapter 60 Returning to Hainan

"Xiaoyu, it seems that bringing two pistols each when we came was really the right thing to do. These things are a bit of a waste as accessories; we should really learn how to shoot properly."

Song Ziqing was very interested in everything new. As a good citizen of the new world, she believed that guns were something only police officers and soldiers were entitled to possess.

But things were completely different in the 1960s, where guns were commonplace.

In this era, people's lives are fraught with danger and uncertainty. Song Ziqing knows that only by learning to protect himself can he survive in this world.

She longed to learn marksmanship, not only to protect herself, but also to protect those around her.

She knew that only by possessing sufficient ability could she protect herself and her loved ones from harm. Therefore, she suggested to Xiaoyu that they train in marksmanship together. Lin Chengyu readily agreed, and the two decided to find time to practice together.

After walking for more than an hour, the group reached the deepest part of Kowloon Village and discovered a forest inside. Song Ziqing's ring space also showed abnormalities, as if urging her to go in quickly.

At this moment, Song Ziqing suddenly remembered that she and Lin Chengyu had come to Hong Kong through a time tunnel and had been unable to find their way back. Now, having arrived at this grove of trees, and with the ring's spatial function reactivating, could she and Lin Chengyu suddenly vanish in front of everyone?!

Thinking of this, Song Ziqing's heart tightened. She quickly greeted Lin Chengyu, pulled him aside, and whispered her worries to him.

Lin Chengyu was also worried after hearing her words, but he still had to pretend to be fine and comfort her, "Qingqing, it's okay. Let's go to the woods to check the situation first. Last time, we were teleported to Hong Kong after we fell and passed out."

Today is different. Today we're both fine. Before being teleported, we should have been able to sense it, especially you.

Lin Chengyu guessed that their arrival in Hong Kong was probably related to the space in her ring.

Song Ziqing was still a little scared. If she and Lin Chengyu, two living people, suddenly disappeared in front of so many people, it would be terrifying.

As she thought about it, she unconsciously tightened her grip on Lin Chengyu's hand. Lin Chengyu sensed her nervousness, patted her hand, and said, "Don't be afraid, I'm here."

Song Ziqing nodded, and the two walked into the woods together. They had only taken a few steps when Song Ziqing felt dizzy. She instinctively gripped Lin Chengyu's hand tightly. Lin Chengyu noticed her distress and quickly asked, "Qingqing, what's wrong?"

Song Ziqing shook his head and said, "I'm fine, I'm just a little dizzy."

Lin Chengyu looked at her pale face and felt a little worried. He was about to say something when he suddenly felt a strong suction force. Then, he and Song Ziqing were sucked into a black hole.

When they opened their eyes again, they found that they had returned to Song Ziqing's home in Hainan and were still lying on the floor of Song Ziqing's bathroom.

Song Ziqing looked around with some surprise and found that she and Lin Chengyu had finally returned!

Lin Chengyu looked around for a while and found that there was still moisture on the bathroom floor and even water in the bathtub. He breathed a sigh of relief. During the long time they were in Hong Kong, this place remained unchanged!

"Qingqing, I feel like even though we've been in Hong Kong for twenty days, nothing has changed in Hainan. It's like time has stood still."

During their time in Hong Kong, they were so busy that they didn't even have time to feel the passage of time.

When Lin Chengyu returned to Hainan, he found everything still so familiar, as if they had never left. He didn't know why, but he felt a strange peace, as if time had stopped there.

Song Ziqing chimed in, "It seems we don't need to worry about the situation in Hainan anymore, but what about Hong Kong? Xiaoyu, even though we entered the woods first, what if the people who came later couldn't find us?"

I thought back to our time in Hong Kong; in just over ten days, everything here has become so unfamiliar. I don't know if we can ever go back to that time, or if we'll ever see that bustling Hong Kong again.

When Song Ziqing realized that he was still wearing clothes from Hong Kong, he knew that his previous trip to Hong Kong was real.

She thought back to those days in Hong Kong, the time she spent with Xiaoyu. The two of them were legally married in Hong Kong; they even had a marriage certificate.

They wandered the streets and alleys together, savoring various delicacies and admiring the night view of Hong Kong. Those days were filled with joy and freedom.

But now everything has changed. She doesn't know if she can ever return to Hong Kong, nor does she know how she can move freely between Hong Kong and Hainan.

If the time tunnel from Hainan to Hong Kong and back to Hainan were a stable tunnel, that would be great.

In this way, she and Lin Chengyu could travel through time and space anytime and anywhere to go to Hong Kong.

In the 1960s, there was very little interaction between China and other countries, especially for ordinary people like her. Being confined to one place and needing tickets to go anywhere made her feel very depressed.

People who are locked up in one place for too long will become stupid.

She and Lin Chengyu are still young and planning to go to university. If they go back to Hainan, they will have to become educated youth in the countryside again, going up and down the mountain with the villagers every day. Just thinking about it is a waste of time and life.

Song Ziqing was still unwilling to give up. A sudden idea struck her, and she looked around the bathroom again, hoping to find something unusual. She said to Lin Chengyu, "Xiaoyu, let's look around. Is there anything special in this bathroom that can take us to Hong Kong?!"

After hearing Song Liaoqing's words, Lin Chengyu finally realized that they still had a chance to go to Hong Kong. He quickly stood up and carefully examined the situation in the bathroom. He then discovered that the two of them must have bumped into the wall and bled, but their wounds healed instantly after going to Hong Kong.

That's a mystery too!

Lin Chengyu was more observant, and after searching for a short while, his gaze fell upon a ceramic figure of a lady. "Qingqing, didn't we find a similar ceramic figure in the bushes of the woods in Kowloon Walled City today?!"
