Chapter 11 Is this the person selling grain?

Is it going well?

It’s okay!

At least that's what Qin Jianye thought.

Even though he had been traveling here for 72 hours and had only eaten two small sweet potatoes and a bowl of wheat bran soup, he still felt full of energy.

I arrived at the county town without feeling tired.

At three o'clock in the morning, the county town was pitch black. There were no lights and no people.

A gust of wind blew, and Qin Jianye shivered. He wrapped himself in his ragged cotton-padded jacket and walked into an alley as if he knew the way.

"What are you doing?" A burly man came out from the corner. Qin Jianye smiled innocently and dug out two cents from his pocket: "There's no rice at home!"

The big man glanced at the mud on Qin Jianye's clothes and his skinny and dry hands, waved his hand in disgust, and motioned him to go inside.

After taking several detours and turning several corners, Qin Jianye arrived at a large courtyard.

The place was packed with people, yet completely silent. Everyone was communicating with each other through gestures, only occasionally gathering together to whisper a few words.

Even with the memories of his original body, Qin Jianye looked around curiously.

Try hard to find what you need from many "merchants".

The first one, no. The second one, still no. The third one, the fourth one, the fifth one...

Qin Jianye walked around for a long time but didn't meet anyone selling grain. He couldn't help but feel discouraged.

Suddenly, the black market was filled with people, all rushing in the same direction in unison.

Qin Jianye's eyes lit up and he hurried to follow.

I was still muttering in my heart: "Is this the grain seller coming?"
