Chapter 31 Little Teacher

Jiang Yun and Zhang Xiuying confronted each other in a tense atmosphere.

Jiang Yonghua has to be on duty these days and is staying in the office instead of going home.

Jiang Yun knew with her toes that Zhang Xiuying would definitely not let her eat again.

She took out all her pocket money and put it in her pocket, put all her books and notes in her schoolbag, locked the doors and windows carefully, and was about to push her bicycle out the door.

Zhang Xiuying thought about Jiang Jun's words about handing in the books, and seeing her carrying a bulging schoolbag, she felt scared. She wanted to ask but didn't dare. She subconsciously yelled, "Get out! Get out and don't come back!"

Jiang Jun no longer had the energy to fight with Zhang Xiuying. He just stopped, turned around, gave Zhang Xiuying a cold look, and rode away on his bike without saying a word.

She also needs to save her energy to go to the cafeteria to get food.

When they arrived at the cadre cafeteria, they happened to run into Jiang Yonghua, who was also there to get food. He thought his daughter was looking for him: "Xiaojun, why are you here?"

Jiang Jun opened her mouth to speak, but tears started to flow out first.

Jiang Yonghua saw Jiang Yun's slightly red and swollen eyes and red nose. He didn't understand what had happened and sighed secretly: "Wait here for me, I'll go get some food, and then you can come with me to the duty room."

Dinner was scallion and egg fried rice. Jiang Jun was tired and hungry, so he didn't care about the health rule of chewing slowly and stuffed mouthful after mouthful into his mouth.

Jiang Yonghua didn't wait for Jiang Yun to put down the rice bowl before he poured her a cup of hot water: "Don't choke if you eat so fast. Drink some water and be careful not to get burned."

Jiang Jun held the enamel cup, blew the water carefully, and drank slowly.

She couldn't understand how such a caring and considerate father could end up with such a wicked woman?

Jiang Yonghua seemed to see through her thoughts: "Did your mother beat you again?"

Jiang Jun put down his water cup and looked his father in the eye bravely: "I had a fight with her."

"You had a fight with your mother?" Jiang Yonghua couldn't believe it. "She beat you out?"

Jiang Jun shook his head. "When I was reading, she would tear up my book. I would fight her and she would not give me food. So I would run out to the cafeteria to get food."

Jiang Jun grabbed her schoolbag and took out the torn notebook. "These are our math teacher's lesson notes. I wanted to copy them down so I can review them later." Jiang Jun's eyes welled up again, and she breathed a sigh of relief. "I copied them secretly at home, and she tore them up without asking any questions."

Jiang Yonghua certainly knew more about the incident of Liujiazhong Middle School being attacked by social people than Jiang Yun. The military compound was already very quiet and social people could not enter. As long as he didn't make a fuss, no outsiders would know.

"Okay, stop crying." Jiang Yonghua felt sorry for his daughter's understanding, but was also annoyed by Zhang Xiuying's ignorance. "Leave your books and notebooks in Dad's office. Dad will copy them for you when he has time."

Jiang Jun wiped away her tears and said, "Dad, I just want to copy it myself so that I can remember it more clearly. Copying it once is like doing the questions three times. It will also be easier to find it later."

A good memory is not as good as a good pen. Only by doing more hands-on work can you have sharp ears and eyes.

Jiang Yonghua nodded and said, "Well, let's do this. The propaganda team has gone to the company and won't be back for a few days. The rehearsal room is empty. You can come over during the day and copy in the rehearsal room. I'll move a table for you to use."

Jiang Yun couldn't wait to do that. He could copy books and have a meal ready. If he ran out of exercise books, he could go to the military service center to buy some. It was really great: "Great!"

The propaganda team's rehearsal room was in the corner of the office compound, very close to the gate. Jiang Yonghua greeted the head of the propaganda department and asked the propaganda officer to open the door for him, then locked Jiang Jun inside.

No outsiders were allowed into the division office, not even family members. Jiang Yun was locked in the rehearsal room, and with Jiang Yonghua as a guarantor, the guards at the gate had less trouble.

Jiang Jun got some peace and quiet, and immediately began to copy books again. After finishing these, she would ask Chen Yuefei for other books to copy.

In order to take advantage of natural light, Jiang Yun moved the table to the window so that the soldiers at the gate could see above her head at a glance.

A jeep drove up and stopped outside the rehearsal room window.

Jiang Jun raised her head and met Chen Zhong, the No. 1, who had just gotten out of the jeep. She quickly stood up.

Chen Zhong recognized Jiang Yun at a glance. She looked like a replica of Jiang Yonghua. Who else could she be but Jiang Yonghua's daughter!

The sentry came over and reported: "Report to Commander Chen, this is Deputy Section Chief Jiang's daughter, she is reading here."

Chen Zhong had no expression on his face: "Oh?"

What kind of books should I read at the division headquarters?

The sentry took out the key and opened the door. Chen Zhong put his hands behind his back and stepped into the rehearsal room.

Jiang Jun turned toward the door. She had heard the sentry's words and knew this was Chen Yuefei's father. After a moment's thought, she timidly greeted him, "Hello, Uncle Chen!"

A teenage girl cannot be too calm and fearless in front of her leader, as this will make others suspicious.

Chen Zhong nodded gently, walked over, picked up the book on the table and flipped through it: "Algebra? Do you understand it?"

It's a textbook from Jingcheng University! This little girl looks about fourteen or fifteen years old, right?

Jiang Jun answered honestly, "These are books from our math teacher. He used to be a math teacher at Jingcheng University, and I borrowed these books from him. I don't quite understand some of the content, so I wanted to copy it down and read it later."

"I don't understand some of it." Chen Zhong smiled. The little girl was quite modest: "So you mean some of it does?"

He should just smile at such a smart and well-behaved girl and not scare her.

Jiang Jun also smiled. This was a gesture of goodwill towards her, and she had to accept it. "Read it a few times. Practice makes perfect. You'll eventually understand it."

Chen Zhong asked again: "You are also in high school, right?"

Jiang Jun continued to smile: "Yes, Chen Yuefei and I are classmates."

When Chen Yuefei was mentioned, Chen Zhong's brows twitched. Why was his daughter so worry-free, not going to school but copying college textbooks, while his son was running around all day and not coming home until bedtime?

"Then," Chen Zhong paused and looked at the physics and chemistry textbooks on the table, "Do you understand all the math, physics, and chemistry you learned in middle school?"

Jiang Jun didn't hide it: "You can basically understand the middle school physics and chemistry textbooks after just one look." In this era, the superstructure has the most information and the most channels. When is the last time to show your face? "I even learned the English alphabet from my dad."

Chen Zhong's heart ached. This person's daughter was so outstanding! He wanted to get to know her better. "If I asked you to give a lecture, would you dare?"

Jiang Jun nodded: "I dare! I taught my sister how to do her homework."

Chen Zhong didn't know whether to feel pain or joy in his heart: "I'll find you a student and you can give him a lesson, okay?"
