Chapter 132 Food Delivery, Skipping Grades

Wen Ruan originally planned to go to school the night before the start of the semester to check on her dormitory and pack her things.

As a result, Song's mother had taken Wen Ruan shopping today and by this time, she was too exhausted to go to school, so she decided to go earlier in the morning.

The next morning, around six o'clock, Wen Ruan and Song Yan went out. Song Yan was thinking of going to the school to help out and see if there was anything Wen Ruan could do to help.

But Wen Ruan urged Song Yan to hurry up and go to work, since it wasn't convenient for a boy to go to the girls' dormitory. Song Yan had no choice but to agree, and after dropping Wen Ruan off at the dormitory building, he turned and left.

Today also happens to be the day when a new batch of freshmen just started registering for university. Although it is still early, the place is already bustling with activity.

The dormitory building was bustling with parents and freshmen coming and going to see their children off.

By the time Wen Ruan left the dormitory, her roommates had already woken up. Except for Song Ge, who was still lying in bed and refused to get up, the others had already finished getting ready.

Everyone was delighted to see Wen Ruan return. Wu Wenqian asked, "Ruan Ruan, are you not going to live on campus anymore?"

Seeing the somewhat disappointed looks on everyone's faces, Wen Ruan nodded first, then added, "Yes, I'm only not here at night. I'll come back during the day and during my lunch break. I'll apply to the counselor later to keep this dormitory."

The roommates were overjoyed: "That's great! When you didn't come back yesterday, we thought you weren't going to live in the dorm anymore, and we were all very disappointed."

“Yeah, I thought a new roommate would move in, we don’t want to be separated from you.” Song Ge quickly sat up in bed and added.

The dormitory was filled with laughter and cheerful chatter.

Wen Ruan quickly climbed onto the bed to tidy up her bed and change the sheets and duvet covers. Dong Ya also climbed up to help, and the two finished quickly.

It's getting late. We have a class meeting at 9 o'clock today, and it's already 8 o'clock. I'm getting ready to go out and have breakfast at the cafeteria first.

Just then, the dormitory supervisor shouted from downstairs, "Someone is looking for Wen Ruan in room 304... Someone is looking for Wen Ruan in room 304..."

Wen Ruan was puzzled, wondering who was looking for her at this time. The others also looked at Wen Ruan with puzzled expressions.

Dong Ya patted Wen Ruan on the shoulder and said, "Don't think too much about it. Go down and take a look."

Wen Ruan did as she was told and went downstairs. When she got downstairs, she saw that it was Song Yan!

"Why haven't you left yet? You're going to be late for work!" Wen Ruan ran over with a look of surprise on her face.

"You didn't eat breakfast, so I went to Li Ji's and bought your favorite steamed buns and tofu pudding, plus these, all for your roommates. Come on up and eat," Song Yan said gently.

Wen Ruan obediently took it, held it up, and waved at Song Yan: "Thank you for the breakfast!"

After saying that, she smiled, turned around, and ran upstairs.

Song Yan was left watching her retreating figure with a smile on his face.

Just as Wen Ruan was about to walk out of Song Yan's sight, she suddenly turned around and saw that he was still standing there, staring at her back without moving. So she waved in Song Yan's direction, pointed to her watch, and then pointed to the door, indicating that he should hurry up and go to work because he was going to be late.

Only then did she turn and go upstairs.

"Ruan Ruan, who was looking for you just now?" Wu Wenqian asked with a gossipy look as Wen Ruan came up carrying a lot of things.

Looking at her gossipy expression, Wen Ruan said irritably, "Song Yan!"

"Oh~" Everyone in the dormitory joined in the teasing, rushing over to tease Wen Ruan. Even Dong Ya, who was usually very composed, joined in.

Wen Ruan blushed deeply, placed the breakfast Song Yan had bought on the table, and said angrily, "You're all busy making fun of me, so don't bother eating breakfast!"

After saying that, he unfolded the oil paper from the breakfast, filling the entire room with the irresistible aroma of food.

"Is this Li Ji's steamed bun?!" Song Ge jumped up from the bed.

Looking at Wen Ruan, she was very excited: "Waaah, I love this place so much, but it's always crowded. I've only been able to eat there once. Your boyfriend is so great!" After saying that, she hugged Wen Ruan's arm and shook it from side to side.

Wen Ruan urged everyone to hurry up and eat, as they would be leaving soon. Everyone gathered around the table to enjoy breakfast.

The group ate and chatted, and everyone was particularly interested in Wen Ruan's internship, wanting to know what it was like for her to work in such a place.

Wen Ruan didn't hold back and told everyone the truth, saying that she had learned a lot at her internship and also talked about the excellent seniors she had met there.

Everyone was greatly encouraged by what they heard and envied Wen Ruan's experience. They all secretly vowed to do their best this semester.

Afterwards, everyone shared their holiday experiences, while Zhou Wen listened quietly, eating her food without saying a word.

As a result, Wu Wenqian asked, "Big sister, you've been at school all holiday and haven't gone home. What have you been doing?"

Wu Wenqian had no bad intentions; she just noticed that everyone else was sharing their holiday experiences and participating in the discussion, while she remained silent on the sidelines. She wanted to get her involved as well.

Of course, I was also curious about what she did at school all by herself, and I was somewhat concerned about her.

When Wen Ruan heard Wu Wenqian's question, she turned her gaze to Zhou Wen, recalling what she had overheard when she borrowed books from the school library a while ago.

Zhou Wen looked a little embarrassed. Seeing everyone's gaze, she hesitated for a while before finally saying, "I didn't do anything. I just went to the library to read books whenever I had free time, just like when I was in school."

"I had wanted to find a part-time job like Xiaoyan before, but I never found any opportunities."
