Chapter 103 The Invincible Kid Who Can Fight and Coax

Luo Yan did not return to the kindergarten immediately, but instead went to No. 123 Sugar Factory Residence.

She crawled under the gate into the courtyard and, seeing that the house door was unlocked, Luo Yan opened it and went inside.

The room had clearly been cleaned; there was no dust on the kang (heated brick bed), so Xu Tai must have cleaned it when he came back.

Luo Yan jumped onto the kang (a heated brick bed) with peace of mind, opened the cabinet door, and took out Liu Jingqiu's notebook and a savings book containing 5,000 yuan from the space and hid them inside.

If nothing unexpected happens, someone will come to search this place soon after Dad reports it.

The notebook can provide Dad with more clues about the truth of what happened back then, and the account is Liu Jingqiu's savings, which will be returned to An Xiaotong's grandparents if nothing unexpected happens.

With this 5,000 yuan as a backup, plus the subsidy for the orphans of martyrs, the elderly couple won't have too much trouble supporting An Xiaotong in the future.

Moreover, even if Liu Jingqiu reported the loss after discovering the passbook was missing, with the passbook still in existence, it was impossible for Liu Jingqiu to return the portion of the pension belonging to Anguo to the elderly couple.

After leaving the sugar factory residential area, Luo Yan ran wildly along deserted paths until she reached the vicinity of the kindergarten, where she slowed down to cool off.

They could already see the kindergarten's walls. Luo Yan's sweat had mostly dried, and she was about to slip in through the back door when she heard footsteps rapidly approaching from behind.

Luo Yan suddenly turned around and threw a punch, her small fist slamming into Liu Fengling's eye as if cast in iron.

As Liu Fengling bent down to hug Luo Yan, she was punched in the left eye, cried out in pain, covered her face with her hands, and squatted on the ground.

Luo Yan recognized Liu Fengling. Considering that her daughter Qu Yingqiu had been sentenced to three years for assisting Liu Jingqiu in human trafficking, she could easily understand Liu Fengling's intention in arresting her.

Outside the back wall of the kindergarten was a narrow alley, usually deserted. Luo Yan kicked Liu Fengling from behind, then unleashed a flurry of punches, making Liu Fengling scream in pain.

After finishing, Luo Yan slipped into the back gate of the kindergarten, locked it, threw the key on the guard's desk, and tiptoed to the middle class.

Teacher Zhang discovered that Luo Yan was missing but didn't dare to make a fuss. She quietly searched for Luo Yan on her own. She visited Luo Yan several times during the middle class and always sat alone in a chair studying diligently during breaks.

It's almost lunchtime, and then we'll need to take a headcount. If a child is found missing in the closed-off area, who knows what kind of uproar it will cause.

Undeterred, Teacher Zhang returned to the middle class to look for her again, only to find Luo Yan pushing away An Xiaotong, who was clinging to Xiao Xiu, and sitting on the chair next to Xiao Xiu, having Xiao Xiu massage her legs.

Luo Yan's legs were sore from running around too much. Xiao Xiu's small hands were surprisingly strong, and she massaged and pounded them very comfortably.

Just as Luo Yan was enjoying herself, she suddenly felt light, and when she looked up, Teacher Zhang was glaring at her with fierce eyes.

Teacher Zhang carried Luo Yan back to the small class's rest room, pressed Luo Yan down on the small bed, and, unable to bear it any longer, slapped her little bottom a few times.

Teacher Zhang didn't use any force at all, but Luo Yan cried her eyes out, and it was the kind of silent crying.

After being put on the ground and questioned by Teacher Zhang about where she had run off to, Luo Yan wiped away her tears as she opened her crossbody bag, took out a small bunch of flowers, and presented them to Teacher Zhang with both hands.

Teacher Zhang was taken aback and accepted the flowers without understanding why.

Luo Yan sniffed, "Shushu...fafa..."

When the topic of mice came up, Teacher Zhang couldn't help but think of the little mouse that An Xiaotong had given to the headmaster that morning.

Could it be...?

"You saw An Xiaotong give the principal a little mouse, so you ran out to pick flowers to give to the teacher?"

I can no longer pretend I don't understand; I have to respond.

Luo Yan nodded, "Hello teacher, please send it to..."

The children say she's nice, and she receives gifts from the principal as well.

But what did she just do? Even if she was furious, she shouldn't have hit the child. Teacher Zhang picked up Luo Yan, feeling guilty, and rubbed Luo Yan's little bottom as she asked her.

"Baby, does it still hurt?"

She hadn't put in much effort; it was like brushing off dust. Luo Yan shook her head.

"No, no... Hello, teacher."

Just praise it.

Teacher Zhang was so appeased by Luo Yan that she was no longer angry. She only regretted that she hadn't asked clearly before taking action.

He took two chocolates out of his pocket and placed them in Luo Yan's hand.

"It's the teacher's fault. The teacher shouldn't have hit Yan Yan without asking clearly. This is for Yan Yan to eat."

Luo Yan took the candy, her face streaked with tears, yet her smile was brighter than the sunshine outside the window.

"Thank you, Shishi."

Teacher Zhang was amused by Luo Yan's adorable appearance and led her back to the small class.

As soon as Luo Yan sat down in her classroom, the childcare worker came in and told Teacher Zhang that a woman had come to the kindergarten and insisted that she had been hit by a child named Luo Yan in the classroom.

Teacher Zhang frowned. "How old is her child?"

The childcare worker said, "It wasn't her child; she said she was hit by Luo Yan, and she looked to be around forty years old..."

That's absolutely unbelievable! Teacher Zhang has never heard such a funny joke before.

"A woman in her forties was beaten by three-year-old Luo Yan?"

The caregiver knew how outrageous that was, but that's what the woman said; she was just relaying the message.

"Yes, Director Lin is already handling it. She wants you to take Luo Yan to her office."

Teacher Zhang reached out to Luo Yan, "Yan Yan, come with me."

Luo Yan heard the entire conversation clearly and wasn't afraid to confront them. She obediently took Teacher Zhang's hand and walked to the principal's office.

Liu Fengling had a bruise on her left eye and was in pain all over her body. When she saw Luo Yan, she pointed at her sharply.

"It was her. She hit me in the back alley just now."

Teacher Zhang shielded Luo Yan behind her and looked Liu Fengling up and down. Although she was neither tall nor fat, people of this build usually had a lot of strength.

"Yanyan is only three years old, how could she hit you?"
