Chapter 03 Rescue

Fortunately, Yang Zhaozhao reacted quickly. He gritted his teeth and pulled the rope upwards.

The mud has a strong suction force. In order to pull the person up, at least three Yang Zhaozhaos are needed. Yang Zhaozhao, who has eaten the Iron Hand Candy, is very strong.

Yang Zhaozhao gritted his teeth, wrapped the rope around his waist, and pulled the man out of the mud little by little.

Tug of war can't compare to this. Yang Zhaozhao knew that if she didn't work hard, this person would not survive.

While pulling the rope, I accidentally rubbed my palms and didn't care even though my hands were bleeding. Saving lives was the most important thing.

It starts with the head, then the shoulders, waist, legs...

Finally, the whole person was pulled out, like a clay figure. Li Yilingchao stretched out his hand to Yang Zhaozhao. Yang Zhaozhao grabbed his bloody hand and pulled him to a safe place.

The blood of both of them flowed together. For some reason, the wounds felt stinging. Yang Zhaozhao frowned, let go of Li Yiling's hand, and saw that he also had blood on his hands, knowing that he was also injured.

Li Yiling felt as if his brain was electrocuted, which made him frown.

Fortunately, the pain only lasted for a moment and he was no longer bothered.

Yang Zhaozhao looked at the man in front of her. Apart from a pair of deep eyes, she couldn't make out his true face at all.

Li Yiling lay on the ground, looking at the exhausted Yang Zhaozhao, his eyes fell on her waist which was tied tightly with a rope, almost breaking it, and then looked at her bruised wrists and palms, his eyes darkened, stinging his eyes.

Li Yiling knew how much strength and determination she had used to pull him up.

People who had nothing to do with each other tried their best to save him.

The companion whom he regarded as a brother wanted to kill him and pushed him into the mud pit.

It's really ironic.

Li Yiling suppressed his anger and looked at Yang Zhaozhao, whose face was covered in sweat. He opened his mouth, which was full of mud, and his words were filled with the rotten smell of mud: "Thank you... Thank you!"

Yang Zhaozhao waved his hands and panted, "Be careful next time. I heard there are many mudflats here."

"Yeah." Li Yiling knew of course that he didn't fall into it accidentally, but someone pushed him. He wouldn't have almost died here.

If it weren't for the woman in front of him, he would have been killed in the mud. He would definitely take revenge.

After resting for a while, they all regained their strength. It was already dark by then. Fortunately, it was the fifteenth day of the lunar month, and the moon was so big that they could still see under their feet.

Li Yiling got up and held out his hand to Yang Zhaozhao: "My name is Li Yiling, an educated youth from Farm 616. What's yours?"

"Yang Zhaozhao, the educated youth from Farm 627." Yang Zhaozhao glanced at his muddy hands, and before he could show disgust, Li Yiling felt embarrassed and took his dirty hands away.

Li Yiling said awkwardly: "Hello, Yang Zhiqing, thank you for saving me today. If you have any problems in the future, you can come to Farm 616 to find me."

Yang Zhaozhao nodded: "It's getting late, I'm leaving now, please be careful."

Li Yiling nodded and watched Yang Zhaozhao leave with the dirty rope. Her slender figure left a vivid shadow under the moonlight.

Li Yiling watched for a while, and after seeing her walk away, he walked in the opposite direction of Yang Zhaozhao.

He silently recited Yang Zhaozhao's name, washed his hands, and wanted to see how deep the scar on the palm was, but he found that there was no wound on his hand at all, as if he had been cut directly, and he was not the one bleeding and feeling pain.

Li Yiling was shocked: "What happened? Am I dazzled?"

Li Yiling stroked his intact hand and smiled: "Yang Zhaozhao, what a good name."

When they were almost at the farm, Yang Zhaozhao washed her muddy and bloody hands with water from the fields. Looking at her hands without wounds, she and Li Yiling were equally shocked. They thought they had seen it wrong and rubbed their hands.

After confirming that there were no wounds, his pretty eyebrows slightly frowned, his eyes full of confusion: "What's going on? My hand was clearly broken and bleeding, but now there is no wound at all."

"Is it my illusion?" Yang Zhaozhao began to doubt his life.

Just at this moment, Yang Zhaozhao's eyes blurred and he passively entered the material space. Looking at the big bold red words on it, his face changed.
