Chapter 191 Package

Gu Rong neither agreed nor disagreed: "Then we'll see. Pack your things first, get some rest this afternoon, we have to get up early tomorrow!"

Gu Xing nodded in agreement: "Okay, let's do it that way then. I'll go buy train tickets with Jian Shu later."

"Okay, be careful," Gu Rong nodded, and then saw him out of the room.

Gu Rong lay in bed, feeling a little strange about suddenly having to return to Beijing.

After thinking for a long time, he realized that he had overlooked something: Gu Qiang and Bai Rou, as well as the two people who came with them.

Gu Rong got out of bed and went to the next room. She looked down at Han Xinyi, who was sitting inside sewing something, and asked, "Sister-in-law, I want to ask, where are Gu Qiang and Bai Rou?"

"Come in," Han Xinyi beckoned to Gu Rong, and after he entered the room, she slowly explained, "They've all been arrested, and they're probably at the farm for reform through labor now. Do you want to see them?"

Gu Rong paused for a moment, then shook her head: "No, I'm just asking. After all, it would be good to arrest them."

Han Xinyi put down her work, took Gu Rong's hand and said, "They did so many bad things, they deserved to be arrested. Don't worry about them anymore, just focus on preparing your things to go back to Beijing."

Gu Rong nodded, but in her heart she thought that this was a case of the wicked getting their just desserts: "Then I'll go back and get some sleep. Sister-in-law, don't always do these things. Get some rest and don't hurt your eyes."

"Okay, I'll rest after I'm done with this. You go and rest too," Han Xinyi nodded with a smile.

Gu Rong returned to her room, lay on her bed, and felt much more relaxed.

All those unpleasant things vanished with Gu Qiang and Bai Rou's arrest, and she could finally relax.

However, thinking of Rong Xin who had already passed away, Gu Rong actually felt that they were much luckier than Rong Xin to still be alive.

In the afternoon, Gu Xing and Jian Shu bought train tickets and returned.

Gu Xing excitedly knocked on Gu Rong's door and, hearing the noise inside, said, "Xiao Rong, the tickets are bought for tomorrow morning at seven o'clock."

We won't have time to leave tomorrow morning, so we have to leave in a bit. Have you packed your things yet? If not, hurry up.

Gu Rong smiled as she took the train ticket, her heart filled with anticipation: "I feel much better now. If my sister-in-law and the others are all packed, let's go now."

“It’s all packed. Let’s get ready to leave now. I’ll go talk to the others,” Gu Xing said, turning and heading to her room.

Looking at Han Xinyi sitting there, Gu Xing leaned over and said, "Xinyi, I've already bought the tickets, but we have to leave tonight."

Han Xinyi didn't expect to leave so soon, but it didn't matter whether she left a little earlier or a little later. "No problem, I'll go talk to my parents now. I'll leave the house to them for the next few days."

Gu Xing nodded: "Okay, I'll go with you. After we finish talking, it'll be about time for us to leave."

"Okay," Han Xinyi put down the clothes in her hand and walked to the door of Gu Rong's room: "Xiao Rong, we're going out for a bit, we'll be back in a while."

"Okay," Gu Rong replied from inside the room, and continued checking her luggage.

Not long after the two left, Gu Rong heard the commotion outside and went out.

When Chu Jianshu saw her come out, he handed her something: "We're leaving, it's a waste to leave the house anywhere."

Aunt Yihua's house, we couldn't get a reservation, and we don't know when we'll be able to. So I thought I'd leave the house to them. This is the land title and transfer certificate."

Gu Rong glanced at it and took it directly: "Do you have any snacks you want to eat? I'll give you some more."

Chu Jianshu hadn't planned to ask for anything, but when he heard it was snacks, he immediately agreed: "Just give me whatever you think is fine, I'm not picky."

Gu Rong smiled and said, "Okay, I'll definitely pick the best for you. They're all things you like to eat, and the portions will be generous."

As she spoke, she led Chu Jianshu into the room and then took out the items one by one.

Chu Jianshu had already accepted the money twice, but seeing Gu Rong still taking more, his eyes lit up: "Giving so much? Aren't you afraid of losing out?"

“You won’t lose money. You’ve already made back what you gave me before,” Gu Rong glanced at him, then smiled and pulled out a bunch more: “Okay, that’s all. I’ll buy more next time I want it at a higher price.”

"As long as there's food, I don't care how much it costs," Chu Jianshu said, putting the things away before following Gu Rong out.

Gu Xing and Han Xinyi, who came out from outside, were stunned to see Chu Jianshu emerge from her room: "What's this?"

Gu Rong didn't explain further, then looked at Gu Xing: "I have something for him, can we leave now?"

"Let's go, let's go now, the oxcart is already waiting outside," Gu Xing said as he went back to his room and took out his package.

Everyone else started moving their things, and Cao Baobao leaned closer to Gu Xing and asked, "Are you all going back now? When are you coming back?"

Gu Rong stuffed a handful of candy into her hand and pinched her cheek with a smile: "I'll be back soon. I'll leave the house to you."

Looking at the milk candy in her hand, Cao Baobao grinned and said, "It's not hard work, it's not hard work. I'll wait for you to come back at home."

"Okay, we're off then," Gu Xing walked outside, climbed onto the oxcart, waved to Cao Baobao and the others, and headed out of the village.
