"Hey, you guys eat first. I'll wait a moment. Yanzhi, you should go out and have breakfast first." Su's mother was in the kitchen counting what vegetables were left at home. She was going to go out and buy some and ask for leave from work. Taotao had just returned, and she planned to spend some time with her at home, take He Yanzhi out for a walk, and buy her some gifts.
Su Tao opened the bag, took out the buns, handed two to He Yanzhi, and took one for himself and started eating.
"Have you eaten it yourself?" Su Tao suddenly remembered that he hadn't asked the man next to him if he had eaten yet, so he handed the bun he had taken a bite of to him.
"You eat it, I've already eaten." He Chuan pushed back the bun that Su Tao handed over.
"Hey, why did you get up so early today? Are you afraid that if you get up late, my dad will wake up and see you sleeping next to him?" Su Tao winked at the man while eating.
"Nothing, I just felt uncomfortable in the new place and woke up early." The man replied awkwardly.
"Is that so?" Su Tao teased with a deliberately drawn-out tone.
At this time, Su's father got up and walked out of the room.
"Dad, go wash up quickly. He Chuan bought your favorite soy milk and fried dough sticks." Su Tao, with his sharp eyes, saw his father get up and shouted loudly.
Father Su was a little drunk yesterday. He blinked his sleepy eyes and then opened them wide in vain. "Why are you still here?"
He Chuan didn't mind and smiled shamelessly: "It was too late yesterday, so Auntie took me in for a night." He simply pointed out that it was Su's mother who asked him to stay, but did not say where he slept.
Father Su snorted coldly and turned to wash up.
In fact, he had already recognized He Chuan's identity, but he was still a little upset that his precious daughter had been deceived away like this.
After washing up, Su's father sat directly on the wooden sofa and took the fried dough sticks and soy milk on the table and started eating.
By this time, Su's mother had finished her work and came out, picked up the buns and started eating.
"Aunt, uncle, Su Tao and I have been engaged for a while. I want to propose to you and discuss the marriage with you." He Chuan suddenly stood in front of everyone and said seriously.
As soon as he finished speaking, two violent coughs were heard. Father Su was so shocked by He Chuan's words that he choked. He quickly took the soy milk and took a few big gulps.
Su Tao was also startled by He Chuan's words, and kept winking at He Chuan, "Why are you bringing this up?" It's not that she doesn't want to marry He Chuan, but she just came back, and Su's father has some opinions about him. Su Tao is worried that if she brings it up too early, Su's father and mother will disagree.
Then the living room suddenly became quiet, and it was Su's mother who broke the silence first, "Taotao, what do you think?"
"Ah, I have no objection." Su Tao was stunned when his mother suddenly called him out, and said shyly with some embarrassment.
"I don't agree!" Father Su shouted angrily when he saw Su Tao's disappointing look.
Mother Su turned around and glared at Father Su, "I'm asking Tao Tao, why are you butting in?"
Father Su was glared at by Mother Su and immediately shrank back, muttering softly: "I am Tao Tao's father, why can't I express my opinion?"
Mother Su turned and looked at He Chuan with a smile, "Xiao He, what do you think?"
