Chapter 22 Punishment (1/2)

Chapter 22 Punishment

After Sun Chuanfang fainted, she was sent back to the educated youth dormitory. She woke up soon after, but she could feel people talking around her bed. She didn't dare open her eyes, fearing that others would find out she was awake and hold her responsible.

Only when he felt that there was no movement around him did he dare to slowly open his eyes. Sun Chuanfang supported himself with his hands, and the back of his head was still in severe pain.

She reached behind her and found a fist-sized bump on the back of her head. She was furious and cursed in her heart, "These damn people watched her fall, and no one offered to help her."

She thought about the current situation and felt that the best way was to continue pretending to be unconscious. After a couple of days, when the situation had calmed down and everyone's emotions had calmed down, she could beg Su Tao again and maybe he would not pursue the matter.

Having made up his mind, Sun Chuanfang continued to lie on the bed pretending to be unconscious.

During this period, people came to see him many times. Sun Chuanfang heard someone talking and asked, "Didn't the doctor say it was just a skin injury? Why isn't he waking up yet?"

Su Chuanfang lay in bed for two days straight, hungry and thirsty, yet afraid to get up for fear of being seen. Finally, she couldn't stand it anymore. She looked around and saw no one was in the dormitory. She decided to get up, find something to eat, and then go back to bed. As soon as she opened the door, she saw several middle-aged women standing there, wearing red armbands. They were from the Women's Federation.

Sun Chuanfang panicked and wanted to escape, but where could he escape to? In the blink of an eye, he was grabbed by the collar by a strong woman.

"Sun Chuanfang, you have a bad character and have tarnished the reputation of others. Now I punish you by sending you to Liangfeng Farm to do labor and repent for half a year." The woman said seriously.

Sun Chuanfang was immediately deflated. Liangfeng Farm was a place where people who made mistakes were punished. The work there was the heaviest, most tiring, and dirtiest. She didn't want to work there.

She looked around in panic, and suddenly saw the slender figure. She broke free from the woman's hand and rushed out like a madman.

Su Tao had already seen the Women's Federation members approaching Sun Chuanfang, but she ignored them. Suddenly, a dark figure pounced at her feet, hugging her feet and crying bitterly, "Su Taotao, I know I was wrong. Please let me go. I don't want to go to Liangfeng Farm."

Su Tao tried to pull his foot away, but couldn't. Sun Chuanfang held him tightly, so he could only say expressionlessly, "I can't help you. Those who make mistakes should be punished according to the rules."

Su Chuanfang shook Su Tao's calf in despair, "No, you are so smart, you must have a way. Please plead for me, they will definitely listen."

To Sun Chuanfang, Su Tao was like a drowning float, a lifeline she clutched desperately. Su Tao was helpless and fell silent. In the distance, members of the Women's Federation arrived and tried to pull Sun Chuanfang away.
