As soon as I reached the village entrance, I heard the deafening sound of gongs and drums, intertwined with waves of cheers. Looking out, I saw four lions, black and red, forming two teams, east and west. The dancers, holding their lion heads, danced to the rhythm of the drums, stepping to the beats, rising and falling, sometimes tumbling, sometimes soaring. After watching the lion dance, the afternoon was already halfway over, and Su Tao had to go back to prepare the New Year's Eve dinner. He didn't know where He Yanzhi and her friends had gone to play, but Su Tao wasn't worried. She had played with them in the village since she was a child and was familiar with the place.
Su Tao said hello to Hu Xiao and then pulled He Chuan back.
