Chapter 31 Signing an Agreement
In the afternoon, Su Tao came to the pig grass picking place wearing a mask and prepared to go to work, but found Tiedan and Ya carrying two baskets of pig grass and placing them in front of Su Tao.
"Can you help me pick the pig grass?" Su Tao looked at the pig grass in front of him in surprise.
The two carrot-heads shook their heads and said crisply, "Brother Chuan came to help you with the toilet early in the morning. He said that you are not yet fully recovered and cannot bear the fatigue."
"Where is he?" Su Tao felt sweet in his heart and looked around, but did not see the man.
"After he finished cutting grass for the pigs, he went back to his farm work."
That dull-witted man had done so much for me, yet he couldn't even take credit for it. Never mind, I'd talk to him about it in a few days, when I felt more confident.
Su Tao returned the pig grass to the brigade and registered his work with the brigade leader. The brigade leader turned a blind eye to Su Tao's work. He just handed in the task and did it. He didn't question who helped with the work. If the female educated youth were to be investigated, it would be difficult to tell which one of them had actually completed the work.
Now that everything was fine, Su Tao planned to go back and draft a clothing manufacturing contract, draw a few sketches of clothing designs, and take them to the town to find Aunt Liang to formally sign the contract tomorrow.
In fact, the contract cannot fully guarantee Su Tao's interests, because there are no invoices or receipts, so there is no way to determine the production volume of the store. Moreover, people nowadays are relatively pure and honest.
She didn't expect to make a lot of money from this, but just wanted to develop another way to recruit students so that she wouldn't just live off her savings.
Su Tao took the brief and reviewed it, then collected it once he was satisfied. He then began sketching clothing. He planned to draw three sketches for work clothes and two for dresses. After all, with so many working people these days, it was still more convenient to wear work clothes while working. Only the girls in towns who could afford it, or the girls in the village who had time to relax, would wear beautiful dresses.
After finishing the sketch, Su Tao simply made some food for herself and ate it, then went to bed early. Her face was not fully healed yet, so it was better for her to avoid exposure to ultraviolet rays.
Su Tao took some medicine and applied some ointment, taking advantage of the fact that everyone was still working and taking off her mask to get some fresh air. She could have gone without a mask, but some people thought her face was rotten, so she just wanted to cheer them up for a few days and then show them off again when she was better.
The next day, Su Tao took He Chuan to collect pig grass early in the morning to hand in the task, and then borrowed an eight-bar bicycle from the educated youth Zhang Jidong, intending to ride it to the town by himself.
Su Tao was tall, so riding a tall man's bike was no problem for him. However, he hadn't ridden a bike in a long time, so he was a little unskilled. After a while of swaying and hesitating, Su Tao found the feeling and gradually stabilized.
This time, Su Tao didn't need to buy anything else, so he rode his bike directly to Aunt Liang's tailor shop.
As soon as I walked in, I was met with a warm look from Aunt Liang. "Welcome, what kind of clothes would you like to have made?"
"Aunt Liang, it's me." Su Tao took off his mask. In fact, when Su Tao looked in the mirror this morning, he found that the redness and small bags on his face had basically disappeared, leaving only a few shallow marks, which could not be seen unless he walked closer and looked carefully.
"Oh, it's you. Why did you come just now?" Aunt Liang walked up excitedly and pulled Su Tao over.
They had agreed to pick up the clothes in three days to discuss the details of the cooperation agreement, but no one showed up. In the past few days, the clothes were hanging in the shop, and there was a constant stream of people coming to inquire about them. Aunt Liang had received many orders. Aunt Liang, who had tasted the sweetness of success, saw that Su Tao had not come yet and was about to send her son to find Hu Xiao to inquire about the situation.
